You never stop

I twisted the pencil in my hand as I studied the clock. Just a few more minutes before I leave. 2 minutes to be exact. As soon as the bell rang I jumped out of my desk. I rushed out the door into the crowded halls. I made my way through the sea of students.

"Y/n," i turned around to see my best friend, Lindsay jogging towards me.

"Hey." She said breathlessly as she walked beside me.

"Hey." I said laughing softly.

"I'm so glad it's Friday." She said with a bright smile.

"Me and you both." I said as my eyes landed on my ex boyfriend, Shawn. My mood completely changed when I saw his arm wrapped around his new girlfriend.

Lindsay noticed and said, "do you still love him?"

I sighed and hugged my binder closer to my chest, "I don't think you ever really stop loving someone. Once you love them they are always in your heart, no matter what they did to you. Shawn and I loved each other, or at least I loved him. I can't really just decide to stop."

Oh my god this is so bad but whatever 🤦‍♀️ I promise I'll start with my more usual updates soon! I just want to say thank you for all the reads and votes. It means so much to me that you guys like my writing. It's something that I'm very passionate about, and to be 12 (almost 13 the 18th,) and have almost half a million reads on one of my books means the absolute world to me 😂 I never would of thought I would have this many people reading my work.
