stop being so damn adorable
a loud beeping noise awoke me from my nap. i rubbed my eyes and sat up. what in the hell? i threw the covers off of my body and swung my legs over my bed. i walked across the carpeted floor over to my window. i pulled back my silk curtains to look outside. i then noticed that the strange beeping noise was coming from a moving van that was backing into the neighbors driveway. i wasn't surprised that we had new neighbors. i had lived in this house for 18 years of my life, so during those years a few families had come and left.
"y/n," i heard my mom call my name. i pulled the curtain close and made my way down the stairs. i looked up from the wooden stairs to see my mom talking to a woman that had two kids. a girl that looked around 15. i looked over to meet a pair of coffee colored eyes. i swallowed hard as he smiled a small smile.
