Even though I don't really like Madison beer, I like her song "dead." Even though I kinda feel like it's dedicated to jack g, but I've heard that she didn't write it.

I watched as my best friend admired herself in the clean white puffy dress in the full body mirror. Her light brown hair was curled and coated with hairspray, her face was painted with makeup making her even more beautiful. She was literally perfect, that's why she was meant to be with him. Not me.

"Do I look okay?" She asked in a worried tone. She turned her body to face me letting me see her better.

I snapped out of my thought, put on a fake smile, and said, "you look amazing."

Shawn's pov:

I took a deep breath as I finished buttoning up my white shirt. I ran my fingers through my hair, making sure a hair wasn't out of place. I pulled the black tux over my shoulders and looked at myself in the mirror.

"Are you sure about this man?" My best man, Ian asked from beside me. I looked at him with confusion.

"Why wouldn't I be?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Because of y/n." He said in a duh tone. I sighed and shook my head as I turned to fix my tie. I didn't want to answer the his question, I didn't know how to. It's all complicated.

The wooden double doors swung open revealing Lindsay and her father. Their arms intertwined as he walked her down the aisle. She looked gorgeous, but my eyes couldn't avoid seeing y/n out of the corner of my eye.

I smiled and took Lindsay's hand into mine. She stood in front of me with a bright smile on her face. She squeezed my hands gently as we listened to the pastor.

"Lindsay, do you take Shawn to be your lawfully wedded husband in sickness and in health?" The pastor asked looking at her.

"I do." She said looking right into my eyes.

"Shawn," I heard a door close signaling someone had left. My eyes looked away from Lindsay's, I noticed an empty space where y/n was standing. My chest tightened, and my hands began to shake. "Do you take Lindsay to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

The short silence was filled with anticipation and silence as they waited for me to answer. I looked down at the red carpet under me, I can't marry Lindsay. She isn't the one I love.

"I don't," the church erupted with gasp and muffled words. "I'm so sorry Lindsay, but I can't do that to you. You deserve someone who loves you, and treats you with respect." My hands fell from hers. "I'm so sorry." I said once again before running down the aisle, out of the church.

My legs ran as fast as they could, I didn't know where I was going, but I knew I had to find y/n. I was running past a 60's based dinner when I saw her through the big glass window. I walked into the dinner making a bell above the door ring. My eyes landed on her sitting in the booth, her head rested in her hand as she swirled a plastic straw in her strawberry milkshake.

I stopped at her table and breathed out, "y/n." Her eyes looked up from the drink and met mine. Her eyebrows pushed together in confusion.

"S-Shawn what are you doing here?" She asked me in her sweet voice.

"I can't marry Lindsay, not when I'm in love with someone else." I said, my voice sounded desperate and was almost like I was begging. Her eyes lit up,
She sat up and looked at me still sort of unsure.

"I love you y/n, you're the one I want to be with for the rest of my life, no one else." I admitted. A few seconds went by making me nervous. She jumped up from the booth and crashed her lips on mine. I melted into the kiss and pulled her body close to mine.

"I love you too shawn." She said breathlessly. I smiled knowing I made the right choice.
