"Here.. We are in a special place in your heart.. Called... Upendi!" Rafiki pushed their heads together. After they kissed Kovu loosened up.

"There's a place where the crazy moon

Makes the monkeys sing and the baboons swoon

And the sultry scent of the lotus bloom

Will carry you away

Where the hippos swing from the jungle vines

And the rhino rhumba in a conga line

And the pink flamingoes are intertwined

As the stars come out to play

In Upendi

Where the passionfruit grows sweet

And it's so divine

That you lose your mind

As it sweeps you off your feet

In Upendi

Without a worry or a care

It just takes two

To make it true

Your heart will lead you there

You better watch your step 'cause the path is steep

Better hold your breath cause the water's deep

It's a long way down over Lovers' Leap

But falling's half the fun!

In Upendi

Where the passionfruit grows sweet

And it's so divine

That you lose your mind

As it sweeps you off your feet

In Upendi

Without a worry or a care

It just takes two

To make it true

Your heart will take you there

You can beat the bush like there's no tomorrow

From Tanganyika to Kilimanjaro

But you'll find Upendi wherever you are

Oh underneath the sun

In Upendi

Where the passionfruit grows sweet

And it's so divine

That you lose your mind

As it sweeps you off your feet

In Upendi

Without a worry or a care

It just takes two

To make it true

Your heart will take you there

Upendi!

Down In Upendi

Way down

In Upendi!"

Time slipped from Kovu. He couldn't leave Kiara after what they'd done today. They bounced as they made their way back to the cave. "In upendi.." They giggled as they bounced to the beat, Kiara leaned against Kovu as they'd gotten to the entrance of the cave. They stopped to nuzzle. "Goodnight.." Kiara smiled. "Night.." He sighed with a smile. Kiara crept back into the cave with Auni almost sweeping her in before going of to Kovu circled his isolated rock. He looked like a child in time out.

Kovu rolled his eyes to see Auni standing before him. "Oh what do you want?" He buzzed her lips of annoyance. "Don't even bother.." He shook his head. "As much as I'd like to swipe her from the lion that wants social status, I know you deserve her and I don't. You got what you wanted to here. Now split." Kovu dismissed. When Auni was gone and Kovu settled down, Simba stepped outside, he glanced at his cave then back at Kovu. He remembered Nala's advice. "Hey.. It's-uh, kinda cold tonight.. Come on in." Simba invited. A small smile of gratefulness curled across is lips and he'd followed Simba inside.

"Get him! Get him Kovu!" Zira growled. "What's that little termite waiting for!" Nuka scoffed. "ARGH!" Zira growled at Kovu sparing Simba. "Kovu will not betray us.." She snorted.
