Lily and Jacob

                                                         Jacob's POV

So today Lily and I were finally gonna spend the whole day together, Carlos and Mom where out all day sorting out the menu for the wedding rehearsal dinner and I had no rehearsals or meetings today so I had the whole day to spend with her.

Lily came down the stairs.

Jacob: You're not going to Javi's are you?

Lily: No he's over at Drew's. Why?

Jacob: I just want it to be us two today. You know Jacob and Lily like it was in Summer and that one week of spring break.

When I wasn't at camp Dad took us to St. Tropez. It's amazing out there and I felt like we really bonded but when we got back to Cali she just had so much catching up to do with Javi. 

At this point I didn't really know Javi so whenever she talked about him she makes him sound like this amazing guy who plays the guitar amazingly and makes her laugh and can sing and dance and all this shit.

Lily: So.

She leans on the kitchen island.

Lily: What do you wanna do?

Jacob: Well first why don't you put on a longer shirt?

We both looked at her shirt. I knew it was a crop top because 'Lasha wore them a lot.

Lily: It's not even that short.

Jacob: Lily your belly button's hanging out of itjust please. For me?

She rolls her eyes.

Lily: Whatever.

She goes up to her room and five minutes later she comes down in a longer shirt.

Jacob: There's my girl.

Lily: It wasn't even that short.

I give her a hug.

Jacob: So I was thinking that we could go get some Pinkberry, catch a movie and you know they just opened up a Nobu round here. Remember Nobu? Dad took us to one in London.

Lily: Of course I remember Nobu, Dad and I used to go like every other day when school would finish and he'd go back into the office for a while then we'd go to Nobu. Also Javi and I had our first date there.

Javi's a great kid but I just wanted it to be about us today.

Jacob: Or that Indian restaurant, Lily you love Indian.

Lily: Oh ok.

                                               In The Car

Jacob: You know, you haven't made those little cookies you used to make in like forever.

Lily: Well when was the last time you said "spread the peace?"

Jacob: Probably not since I was your age. You think Mom's gonna let me get another piercing?

Lily: No, she wants you to take them out for the wedding anyway and she thinks you have too many.

Jacob: Do you like them?

Lily: Yeah, actually I wanted to get another piercing but Dad said no.

Jacob: I don't know why she said that she gave me permission for all my piercings and she's never complained about it to my face.

Lily: She just wants them out for the wedding I don't think she minds them they're your ears.

Jacob: I like them, you like them 'Lasha thinks they're hot.

Lily: I did not need to hear that.

Jacob: Well obviously you must like them because you're dating a guy with ear piercings.

Lily: But what does that have to do with piercings? I mean I like your piercings because I'm used to seeing them they're normal so I don't notice them anymore.

Jacob: So why do you like Javi?

Ok so I know I wanted this day to be about us but I really wanted to know.

Lily laughs.

Lily: Well he's really caring and he makes me laugh and his hair is just so soft - unlike yours - and his guitar and his singing and his dancing. Oh and when he laughs his nose wrinkles and it's really cute and he has to push up his glasses sometimes and-

Jacob: Ok I guess you really like him a lot for a lot of reasons.

Lily: Yeah. Why do you like 'Lasha?

Jacob: I like 'Lasha when we met back in middle school, I thought she was pretty then and I still think she's pretty now. So do you still talk to Jojo.

Lily sighs.

Lily: He's become a different person since we broke up. He's so rude and ignorant.

Jacob: Lily I swear, he wasn't like this before you met him. He was funny and a great kid and I thought you guys would get on and be kind of cute together but I guess I was wrong.

Lily: It's not your fault.

Jacob: But if I had never gotten you together-

Lily: Then I would have missed out on a lot of fun memories.

                                                Lily's POV

It's true though I would have missed out on a lot of memories. I don't actually hate Jojo I just hate the person he's become, he used to be so sweet and I kinda liked how dumb he was. But now it's just whatever I'm with Javi now and besides there was probably something I did to make him want to cheat.

Sorry short chapter but summer starts soon so don't worry.

Is Lily right to think Jojo cheating is her fault?

What if... Javi's family and Lily's family went on summer vacation together?

Oh I'm so sorry I left you guys for ages, I had serious writer's block and when I finally got over it I wrote about three very different versions of this chapter but I was having laptop problems so they all ended up being deleted before I could even finish them.

I hoped you like this and I'll try to write better chapters but once again I apologise for leaving you and my writer's block I hope you guys didn't lose interest in the story or anything because I really couldn't think of any good chapter ideas but I should be back on track pretty soon.
