Lily and I were outside on the porch, she was a little worried becuase Jacob didn't come home last night but I begged her to stay at my place for a couple of hours. 

She was sitting with her legs crossed in front of me scrolling through Instagram on her phone. I lean over and start playing with her hair.

Lily: Javi, get out of my hair.

Javi: I'm just playing with it.

Out of all the things I love about her hair is at the top of the list, I mean first of all it's fucking red and she didn't dye it it's just like that. Most girls wear weaves and stuff but Lily doesn't do that and I like that. Lily's hair is curly and goes just past her shoulders when it's curly and her waist when it's straight but I like it better when it's curly.

 Lily: Well can you not play with it?

I ignore her and carry on.

Javi: Seriously though, what do you put in it to make it so soft? 

Lily: I'll tell you what I don't put in it, your hands.

Javi: Come on, you have to tell me. I want pretty hair too.

Lily: Maybe if you actually combed your hair every once in a while.

Javi: You know you love my hair. 

Lily: It looked good when we started becoming friends but now, it's just messy.

Javi: I'm sorry, I didn't think I had to try that hard around you.

Lily: You don't, combing your hair isn't trying hard.

Javi: Well excuse me for thinking you liked it messy.

She pulls a hairband off her wrist and ties her hair up.

Javi: I was thinking, if we made an Instagram together and posted cute couple shit.

Lily: Cute couple shit?

Javi: Uh huh.

Lily: What do we do that's cute?

Javi: We do lots of cute stuff.

Lily: Like? 

Javi: Well, we watch movies together, we do homework together, we play Xbox together. 

Lily: So that doesn't make us cute.

Juan sits down next to me.

Javi: Juan are we a cute couple?

Juan: Who you and I?

Javi: No me and Lily dumbass.

Juan: Well you're ugly but together you're cute.

Javi: Told you.

Juan: Why?

Lily: Javi wants us to make an Instagram together.

Juan: That sounds stupid.

Javi: Thanks for the support Juan.

Juan: You're welcome.

Javi: Love you too bro.

Juan: Lily where's Jacob? He doesn't answer his phone anymore.

Lily: I don't know, I think his phone is dead but last time I saw him he said he was going to Chres' house.
