You were walking home in the middle of the night.
You had been in the library working on homework.
A group of guys circled around me.
You sighed and shrugged off your bag, setting it down.
You were expecting a fight.
One guy stepped forward and you grabbed his hand, twisting it and kicking him in the stomach. He went down and his other friends leapt forward.
You continued to fight them off until a light came on over head. It blinded you all, forcing you to stop and cover your eyes.
The light disappeared and you noticed your surroundings had changed.
“Where am I?” you asked yourself.
“On my ship,” a voice responded.
“This doesn’t look like a normal ship,” you commented.
“It’s alien. Like me,” he said.
“Why am I here?” you questioned.
“I saw you were in trouble and decided to help a girl out,” he said.
“Oh, how gentlemanly of you,” you said, rolling your eyes.
“It is, isn’t it?” he smiled.
“I had the situation handled,” you informed him.
“Still, I just couldn’t let you be stuck in the middle,” he said.
“I didn’t need your help,” you said.
“You’ve got quite the mouth on you, huh?” he said.
“What happened to being a gentleman?” you sneered.
“Shut up and sit down,” he ordered.
“I’d much rather stand and raise hell,” you replied.
“Oh, I can tell,” he groaned, “You’re giving me a headache.”
“Just doing my job,” you said, giving a fake smile.
“Too bad you don’t get paid for it,” he snarkily spoke.
“Oh, I do. Your pain is enough payment,” you said.
“Stop it. I am the Queen of Sass,” he said.
He paused when he realized what he had said.
“That position has already been filled by me,” you said.
“Don’t sass me on my ship,” he ordered.
“I’ll sass you whenever or wherever I want to,” you replied.
“We’re going to be great friends,” he grinned.
“Totally!”
