You sniffled as you woke up.
Your throat was killing you and you couldn’t breath out of your nose.
You groaned, knowing you were sick.
Good news was the WInchesters were on a hunt, so they couldn’t treat you like a charity case.
You were a hunter, too. The Winchesters had allowed you to stay in the bunker with them after you ran into each other on three separate cases. You had saved their asses on all of the hunts. As a thank you, they took you in.
You hadn’t gone on the case because you weren’t feeling 100% and you didn’t want to become a liability.
As you got dressed to exit the room and grab some medicine, tissues, and soup, you remembered Kevin was still there. You shrugged it off thinking he would be too absorbed in the tablet anyway.
You exited the room and went into the kitchen. You tucked a box of tissues under your arm along with some cold medicine. You put a bowl of soup in the microwave and began to heat it up.
You had a sudden sneeze attack.
When you finished, the soup was ready.
“Y/N?” Kevin called, entering the kitchen.
“Yeah?” You asked, turning to him.
He put a hand to your forehead.
“You’re sick,” he said.
“It’s nothing,” you shrugged.
He pushed you in the direction of your room.
“Bed. Now,” he ordered.
You sighed and slipped into bed.
Kevin entered behind you, placing the tissues next to you.
He poured the medicine on a spoon.
“Open,” he said.
I opened my mouth slightly and swallowed the disgusting thing.
He smiled at me.
“Can I have the soup now?” i asked.
“Open up,” he chuckled.
“I can feed myself,” you reminded him.
“Shut up and let me take care of you,” he said.
“You don’t have to,” you spoke.
“I like you, Y/N. A lot,” he admitted, blushing.
“Kevin, I like you too,” you responded.
Kevin tried to kiss you, but you stopped him.
“I’m sick,” You told him, “I’ll get you sick.”
“Then it’ll be your turn to take care of me,” he smiled.
You smiled back and he pressed his lips to yours.
A sick day turned out to be the best day.
