You were Bella’s little sister.
No one knew, but you were familiar with vampires and the Cullens. Edward was your ex.
You lived in Arizona and broke up when he moved away.
Your mother and Phil were going travelling for Phil’s new baseball season.
Bella and her new boyfriend, Jacob, would be travelling with them.
You were going to live with you father in Forks, Washington.
As soon as you arrived, you felt shivers and as if someone was watching you.
You blamed the feeling on jet lag and kept going.
You took a taxi to the house.
It was secluded, but that just made it easier for you to live there.
You enjoyed the quiet and loved being alone.
You spotted your dad out front and got out of the cab. You grabbed your bag and went to meet him.
He smiled, instantly recognizing you and he stood.
You both hugged.
You felt a gust of wind and when you pulled apart, there were people surrounding you.
You looked around and recognized them all.
The Cullen family.
“Y/N!” Alice squealed, hugging you.
You hugged back.
Alice had been like a sister to you.
One by one, they all hugged you, expressing how much they missed you.
Edward awkwardly hugged you.
“Good to see you,” he muttered.
“Same,” you said.
You smiled and waved at everyone.
Rosalie had always been caring for you, as a mother. And the same with Esme. Carlisle guided you like a father. Emmet acted as your bodyguard and made you laugh when you needed it. Jasper was good at listening, and you listened to him.
Edward and you were… awkward now, but it didn’t matter.
“I guess we should get going then. We just came to say hello,” Carlisle said.
The Cullens left and you went to the bedroom you were given.
You made dinner for Charlie and watched a movie with him. When Charlie went to work the night shift, you went to your room. You opened your bag.
You felt someone behind you and knew immediately who it was.
“So I heard you pulled the same thing with my sister,” you spoke.
“I was trying to keep her safe,” he said.
You turned to face him.
“You hurt her,” you said.
“She’s happy now,” he replied, defensively.
You sighed.
“Why are you here?” you asked.
“Because I want you to be happy, too,” he answered.
He moved close to you and wrapped his arms around you, pushing your hair out of your face.
“Edward, -,” you began.
“Please, Y/N. You’re the only one I want. The only one I need,” He spoke, “I love you.”
Edward touched your foreheads together.
“I love you too,” you smiled.
“Forever?”
“Forever.”
