You were still shaking from your demonic encounter. One moment you were just chatting with a nice young man at a bar, the next his eyes are turning back and he is dragging you outside. Once you stepped into an alley and he pulled out a knife, you closed your eyes, welcoming death.
Demons threatening your life were nothing new. Demons had ruined your childhood and left you tortured. They killed people you cared about, turned people against you, tortured you, messed with your head, and played with your emotions. You were just ready for it to end.
You heard a scream and opened your eyes to see a bright white light. You sighed, knowing who it was. Castiel, your guardian angel. He had been protecting you since forever and you didn’t understand why. He mainly repeated a speech on safety and endurance every time he came. Then he’d disappear and that’d be the end of it.
“Y/N, you’re in a lot of trouble. We have to get you out of here,”Castiel said quickly, looking around.
“Where are we going?” you asked.
You didn’t quite trust Castiel. You didn’t know him. Sure, he was an angel, but angels fall. He grabbed your arm and pulled you close to him.
“You’re going to stay with two friends of mine,” he said.
You blinked and the next thing you know, you’re in a different place. You were now in a hotel room.
“Where am i? Where did you take me?” you demanded.
You heard footsteps and turned to see two men walking up to you. They had confused looks on their faces.
“This is Y/N Y/L/N. Y/N, this is Sam and Dean Winchester. My friends,” Castiel introduced.
“What is this, Cas?” Dean asked.
“I need you two to watch her so i can find out why the demons want her,” Castiel said.
“You didn’t think to check about that all those years ago?” you hissed.
“It wasn’t of importance,” he said.
“You try having your life ruined,” you whispered.
Castiel sighed and disappeared.
“I hate when he does that,” you said.
“Yeah, well you’re not the only one,” Dean said, “So just sit tight until he comes back.”
“If he comes back,” you corrected, “He left me in Paris for four days one time.”
Dean pondered that and then shrugged.
“I’m going to grab some grub. Watch her,” Dean told Sam.
You looked to see Sam typing away on his computer. Dean rolled his eyes, gave you a fake smile, and walked out.
You sat on the corner of one of the beds.
“You’re all over the web,” Sam stated.
You looked at him.
“What?” you asked.
“Deaths of your friends and some of your family, people pushing you away and almost trying to kill you, you’ve transferred schools and moved around quite a lot. The demons did all of this to you?” Sam asked, finally looking at you.
You had tears in your eyes and you looked away from him silently. He sat next to you.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you cry,” he said.
“They ruined my life and i don’t know why. Why me?” you responded.
“I don’t know,” he sighed, rubbing your back.
You turned your head and cried softly into his shoulder. When you had subsided after a few moments, he pulled your face up.
“I know what’s happened to you. What you’ve been through. And i promise, that i will make sure it never happens again,” he said.
You looked at him and kissed him. You pulled away, realizing that you were kissing a stranger, but he pulled you back to him. He kissed you again and it got heavier. He pushed you onto the bed, laying you down and he laid on top of you, careful to balance his weight. The kiss never broke.
That is, until Dean walked through the door and laughed.
“Congrats, Sammy,” he said, “Though i’m not sure Cas will approve.”
Sam and you blushed. Sam went back to his computer and Dean went into the kitchen to get a beer. You felt something hit your head and you looked down to see a paper ball.
You looked at Sam who was smirking and chuckled as he simply winked at you.
