You were nervous.
You were biting your lip, staring down at your phone.
“Come on, babe. It’s for the video,” your boyfriend, Mitchell said to you.
Your boyfriend was Graser10, a big canadian youtuber.
You sighed as you went onto your twitter, just for him.
He wanted to film a video in which fans tweeted you questions and you both answered.
However, Mitchell had dropped his phone in the sink, so you were using yours.
What Mitchell didn’t know was that your twitter was flooded with hate.
You looked at him before you read the first question.
“Why are you dating Mitchell?” you read.
Mitchell laughed.
He thought it was supposed to be in a nice way.
“Why are you so ugly?” you continued.
Mitchell stopped laughing.
“Why are you so pathetic?”
“Why are you so fat?”
“No one cares about you.”
“You’re totally wrong for Mitchell.”
“Mitchell should leave you.”
“You should just go kill yourself.”
“If he keeps dating her, I’ll have to unsubscribe.”
You listed, breaking down into tears at the last two.
Mitchell snatched away your phone and tossed it away.
He pulled you into a hug.
“Hey, hey. None of that was true. You are perfect, in every way. I care about you so much. You are my soulmate. I will never leave you,” he said to you, holding you close.
“Staying with me could ruin your Youtube career,” you sobbed, “I don’t want that for you.”
“None of that matters to me. You’re my everything. I’d choose you over it all in a heartbeat,” he told you.
“But you worked so hard, you can’t just-,” you began.
“I can. And I will,” he cut you off.
Before you could say anything, he began to rock you soothingly while humming a sweet melody.
You felt your eyes begin to flutter close.
“I love you so much, Mitchell,” you said, kissing him passionately.
“I love you more,” he said, kissing back.
“Not possible,” you said, sinking into sleep.
“Yes possible,” he whispered, kissing your forehead.
You sunk into sleep.
Mitchell posted the whole unedited video as you slept, as a message to the fans to stop the hate or say goodbye to him.
You woke up the next morning to tons of apologies and an engagement ring.
