You were disgusted.
Your heart was torn.
You couldn’t even look at your boyfriend, Spike.
It wasn’t because he was a vampire.
That didn’t matter.
It was because he had done something that you just couldn’t understand.
Your mind flashbacked to his confession.
You woke up with a smile and looked over to see your boyfriend gond.
‘Spike?” you asked.
You went downstairs and found him sitting on the couch.
His head was in his hands.
“Babe, is something wrong?” you asked.
He looked up at you.
“Y/N, please sit down,” he said.
You gulped and sat across from him.
From the way he was acting, you knew he had bad news.
“I have a confession,” he said.
“What is it?” you asked slowly.
“I’ve been cheating on you with Buffy,” he sighed.
Buffy was your best friend. She even taught you how to protect yourself and fight.
Your heart was definitely broken.
“Please look at me and say something, Y/N,” Spike begged.
You didn’t move from your position.
Spike sighed.
“I’ll leave you to think,” he said, changing and walking out.
You raced upstairs and changed, while packing a bag.
You opened the door to leave, only to find Spike right outside the door looking sad.
He stopped you and pulled you back inside.
He kept a grip on your wrist.
“I don’t know why I did what I did, but I was stupid. And I love you so much. I don’t want to lose you. I need you here. And I know if you leave, I will never be the same. It will feel like half of me is leaving. And if you say you hate me, I will stake myself,” SPike sighed.
He looked for emotion in your eyes.
All he saw was heartbreak.
“But If you want to leave, I won’t stop you,” he said, “Because I want you to be happy.”
You hesitated, but you saw honesty and pain in his eyes.
You looked at him closely.
You hugged him and he pushed his lips to yours passionately.
You pulled away quickly.
“I don’t want to get hurt again,” you whispered.
“Baby, I will protect you forever.”
