You were on your way to interview for a new job at the BAU.

You got on the elevator.

“Hold the doors!” you heard someone call.

You immediately put your hand out to keep the doors open.

A cute, young guy with long hair and a messenger bag got on.

He seemed breathless.

“Thank you,” he said.

You smiled at him.

“No problem. What floor?” you asked kindly.

“Same floor,” he said, nodding at the button you had pressed.

“Okay,” you said, settling back.

He kept looking at you.

“I’m Y/N,” you said, holding out your hand.

“Doctor Spencer Reid,” he said.

He hesitated but shook your hand.

“Doctor,” you said, smiling to yourself, “I have a thing for Doctors.”

He blushed.

“Oh no, I didn’t mean it like that,” you said, realizing how you sounded, “It’s just this show I watch, Doctor Who.”

His eyes widened.

“I love Doctor Who,” he said.

You laughed.

“Oh, you just made my day, Doctor,” you said.

He smiled at you.

The elevator stopped at your floor.

You watched him turn to go right, while you had to go straight on.

“I hope we see more of each other, Y/N,” he said.

“Oh, I’ll definitely be seeing more of you, Doctor,” you winked, walking away.

And you were right.

You got the job and joined the BAU.

You were nine months on the job and had gotten a whole weekend vacation.

“What are you going to do, mama?” Derek asked, sitting on your desk.

“Probably have a movie marathon,” you shrugged.

“Well, baby girl and I are going dancing. You’re invited to come,” he said, looking at the team, “Everyone is.”

“I’m spending as much time with Will and Henry as possible,” JJ said.

“Rossi and I have soccer team stuff to do,” Hotch spoke up, with Rossi nodding behind him.

“Got to get those boys into shape,” he added.

“Reid?” Derek asked.

“Probably just going to catch up on my reading,” Spencer said.

Derek looked back at you.

“Sure you don’t want to join us?” he asked.

“I’m sure. Have a good time,” you smiled.

The truth was, when you were younger, you would always have movie marathons with your older brother whenever he had time off. He was a cop and had died in the line of duty a while back. You kept the tradition going.

The team went their separate ways and you walked to the train slowly.

You felt someone come up next to you and tap your shoulder.

You looked to see Spencer.

“Hey, Spence,” you said.

“Um, I was wondering, if it wasn’t too much to ask, if I could join you for your movie marathon?” he asked.

“Of course you can,” you smiled, “Meet me at my place in an hour with clothes.”

He smiled back and nodded.

An hour later and you had the house ready.

Spencer knocked and you laughed and let him in.

He set his duffel down on the floor near the doorway.

“Thanks for having me,” he said.

“It’s great to have some company,” you said.

You took his hand and led him to the couch. Movies and snacks scattered the coffee table.

“Guest chooses first,” you said.

Spencer chose Gattaca.

Halfway through, Spencer turned to you.

“Y/N, do you still have a thing for doctors?” he asked.

“Uh, yeah. Why?” you asked, nervously.

You had a crush on him, but you didn’t want anyone to know.

“Because I think I have a thing for you,” he said softly.

You were shocked.

“Just forget it,” Spencer rushed, “Pretend I didn’t say anything.”

You turned his head towards yours and kissed him.

You two soon ended up in a heated make out session, with you laying on the couch and Spencer on top of you.

The movie had been forgotten until the music of the credits started to play.

You both pulled away and looked at each other, smiling and blushing.

“I think I thought of something better to do than watching movies,” Spencer said.

“What’s that?” you asked.

“You.”
