You paced the living room waiting for your boyfriend of 8 months to come over. You had discovered you were pregnant when you went to the Doctor after throwing up every morning for a week. It never even occurred to you that you could be pregnant.

And now you had to tell Sam. Sam was a hunter and had told you repeatedly he never wanted kids. You didn’t mean for this to happen. You were scared for Sam’s reaction.

Sam entered the living room to find you pacing with a worried look on your face. He could tell you were terrified. You didn’t notice him watching you because you were lost in thought.

“Y/N?” he called.

You didn’t hear him.

“Y/N!” he called, louder.

You froze and looked at him.

“What’s wrong?” he asked.

You took a deep breath.

“I’m pregnant,” You blurted out.

Sam winced and took a couple steps away from you.

“I told you I never wanted kids,” he said.

“What, you think I wanted this?” you asked.

“How could this have happened?” he asked softly.

“A condom must have broken or something,” You reasoned.

Sam retreated.

He grabbed his duffel and walked back out the door.

“You’re leaving?” you gasped.

“This is your own fault,” he told you.

“It takes two people to make a baby, Sam,” You replied.

“I’m sorry, I just can’t,” he sighed, shaking his head.

You watched him walk away.

You went back inside and called your mom.

She usually always helped you.

“Mom, I’m pregnant and Sam left,” You sobbed.

Your mom gasped and you remembered how strictly religious your family was.

“You’re not married! You can’t be pregnant!” she hissed.

“I’m sorry mom,” You sobbed harder.

“Y/N, you are not apart of this family anymore!” you heard your mother shout.

She hung up and you crumpled to the ground in tears. You packed your bags and went to the only person you knew would be there for you. Your best friend. She welcomed you with open arms.

She held your hand when you gave birth, she helped you get back on your feet and get a house, she supported you.

It had been four years since that tragic day.

You now had a beautiful daughter named Mary.

You were with her in the park, pushing her on the swings.

You heard leaves crunching behind you and you turned to see two men in suits.

They flashed FBI badges.

“Agent John Murphy,” the short one said, “This is my partner, Agent Tim Saxon.”

You stopped swinging Mary and pulled her close to you.

“What can I help you with, Agents?” you asked.

“I need your names and to ask you a few questions,” Agent Murphy said.

“I’m Y/N Y/L/N and this is my daughter Mary Y/L/N,” You answered.

“Wait, Y/N?” Agent Saxon asked you.

“Yes,” you nodded.

“It’s me, Sam Winchester,” he admitted.

Your eyes widened as you recognized him.

He must be on a hunt.

You picked Mary up.

“Is that…?” he trailed off.

“MY daughter, yes,” You said coldly.

The short one looked back and forth between you.

“It takes two to make a baby,” he reminded you.

He took a step forward and you took a step back.

Mary looked confused.

“But I raised her. With only Y/BFF/N by my side. My family disowned me, you abandoned me. And yet, I’m better than I was before,” You informed him, “So yeah, MY daughter.”

“I never meant to hurt you. I panicked and did something so stupid,” Sam spoke, “But when I went back an hour later, you were gone.”

You went quiet.

Sam stepped closer to you.

“Please,” he whispered.

You sighed and set Mary down.

“Mary, this is your father,” You told her.

Her eyes brightened and she hugged his leg.

Sam’s eyes filled with tears and he bent down to hug her close.

The short guy stared at you.

“I’m his brother, Dean,” he introduced.

“Y/N,” I nodded.

“She’s my girlfriend,” Sam called.

You shook your head, but one kiss from Sam was all it took for him to get another chance.

Mary was gonna grow up great.
