do you know how much I hope you would at least understand how I feel for you?
...
"bitch what."
"that's extra."
"what the fuck."
"woah."
"yah!" jimin blinked at them, annoyed by their expressions.
"manners jimin!" jin narrowed his eyes at jimin.
looking down, jimin cheekily smiled at jin, "sorry hyung."
nodding, jin leaned nearer towards them as they did the same, "we'll discuss this later, okay? now let's go and find the two girls there."
they nodded as their expressions became sorrow again at the thought of jae eun's devastated look.
they weren't close to jae eun nor were they close to sohye, but they knew the pain she held.
they wouldn't normally even care, but jimin was there. there was more to it.
and if it's jimin's problem, then it's all their problem.
it has been like this for years. they had always been there for each other.
and they still will.
one wasn't one. seven was one.
a package was what they were. a group. a pack. a team. a family.
and nothing could separate them.
nothing.
walking back, the sight of the two girls hugging each other while small sniffles were heard actually softened them.
it reminded them of all the different things that they had to go through together. and they still are.
"hey guys." hoseok voiced out.
letting go of each other, sohye smiled at them while jae eun could only master out a small, faint smile that couldn't even be seen.
when jae eun finally got to meet her awake mother, she could not help but let more tears roll down.
"eomma..." she trailed before hugging her mother.
"jae eun ah..." the unreadable tension was enough to let the rest keep quiet.
because before they knew, they were in a group hug with sohye while the boys stood awkwardly at the side.
"don't worry, it'll all be over. please be strong." sohye muttered a few things through their hug.
nodding, her mother held onto jae's hand, "jae eun ah, we need to be strong, okay? your father wouldn't like it if we keep on crying. and I know that this accident isn't just a normal one. it can't be." her mother looked down.
"what?" jae lifted her head to meet her mother.
there was no way her mother would know even if it was true. she wasn't there.
there must have been something that made her so sure.
but the boys knew better.
they knew so much more that when her mother mentioned it, they were further from shocked.
"mum this is ridiculous we won't know-"
"we will, jae. it has to be it. no car would just appear in the alley and crash your father's car." her mother reasoned out.
