...

things were so easy. why aren't they now?

...

probably going back to the boys and letting them bring her home was the best choice, she just had to hide from their sight and take another bus.

well in the end, causing the both of them to panic like chickens.

by chickens, I mean,

"okay taehyung, where the actual fucking pizzas is jae?"

"if I knew I would not be fucking up now."

"she was just there! like, there!" jimin used his hands to gesture at the position where she was.

"I know there but where is she now?!" taehyung sighed.

"oh my coconut heads." jimin groaned.

"did someone take her away again?" taehyung gasped.

widening his eyes, jimin made eye contact with taehyung, not knowing what to do.

as if they weren't stupid enough, they were still thinking of ways to find out her location when they could have just did the things they would always do.

then their eyes did something that made the both of them to think of the same thing.

"p-phone!" they pointed at each other sharply.

both of them fished out their phones and dialed for jae to realise that it wasn't actually reaching her phone.

"yah pabo! we can't call her together!" jimin frantically exclaimed.

opening his mouth in realization, "ah...then you call."

and jimin did just so.

"please pick up...please..."

but then it led to voice message.

that was when chicken and ducks weren't enough to describe their anxiousness.

"we have to find her."

...

"I can't find it!" sohye frustratingly ruffled her own hair.

"fuck. do you have any other memories of you misplacing it somewhere else?" hoseok ran a hand through his hair.

"i-i don't." slowly yet easily, the brimming tears in her eyes sparkled their way down her soft, chubby cheeks.

"h-hey," hoseok didn't know what to do, he himself felt like crying too.

placing his hands on her shoulders gently, he was careful to not break her as if she was a breaking glass.

"d-don't cry." he had the urge to wipe her tears, pull her into his embrace, tell her everything was going to be okay, tell her that if she lost this necklace, he can get her a brand new one.

a brand new one with a new meaning.

one that can bring back that pretty smile on her.
