suddenly, jimin felt a pull.
the water splashed.
and he opened his mouth, gasping for air.
"park jimin are you fucking crazy?!" the loud, worried voice echoed in his eyes.
he smirked, now what?
hoseok pulled the metal piece out, letting the water drain.
"do you fucking think drowning yourself can bring jae back to you?!" hoseok yelled, making jimin flinch.
the younger one stayed in the tub, shivering from the cold.
he hugged his knees tight, water dripping from his hair.
he kept quiet.
then he sniffled.
hoseok sighed, eyes softening.
he took a towel from the side and wrapped it around jimin, joining him in the tub as well.
"hyung..." jimin whimpered like a child, the word sounding so vulnerable.
hoseok knew. he knew how it felt.
heck, he even did the same as what jimin did that time.
so he kept quiet, he let jimin cry in his arms.
hoseok felt the moisture join his shirt as well, maybe it was jimin's hair, maybe it was jimin's tear, but he knew he wanted to share it with the younger one.
"Jesus jimin, you're only seventeen. why does all shit fall on you?" hoseok muttered, stroking jimin's hair.
jimin held onto hoseok's arms, clinging onto it as he cried harder.
"I need her. I need her, hyung. it hurts..." jimin cried out.
after days of not eating, he finally spoke.
"everything hurts. but you have me. you have all of us." hoseok held onto jimin tighter like a baby.
unknowingly, hoseok himself was tearing up.
and he didn't know when but he felt more arms over them.
those familiar scents.
"it's all gonna be over, jimin. just wait for awhile, it passes you like time." namjoon spoke.
the six boys wrapped their arms around jimin who sobbed harder.
"it doesn't. it never does." jimin choked out.
"it will. it definitely will. because we're here. we're here to share your pain. so don't hide away from us, hyung." jungkook firmly spoke, even though his heart said the otherwise.
no one replied.
but they didn't need words to describe what they wanted to convey.
they just stayed there, for god knows how long.
it was cold, quiet, but so calming, so assuring.
it wasn't only jimin who needed those encouragement.
deep down, they knew they all needed it.
and they were always there for each other, collecting their lost pieces and fixing them back.
"fuck that jimin, you don't need anyone else. we all love you so fucking much."
and what yoongi said was true.
...
"is this what you have after locking yourself in the room for three whole weeks?" Bo Gum spoke, fingers twirling the knife.
"try it. then you tell me." jae spoke, voice lower than usual.
Bo Gum just smirked.
he didn't know if it was for the good.
after those three weeks, jae came out different.
it was as if she changed into a whole new person.
she was quiet, observant, sharp, and her personality changed.
she became straight-forward, not as friendly, cold, and super shady.
to say that she was rude was not right.
but she wasn't exactly nice.
she never smiled and never laughed.
she found nothing interesting anymore.
well maybe one thing.
fighting.
the eyes she held while fighting with the other kids changed.
she became determined.
and what Bo Gum picked up from the seventeen year old girl was that she definitely knew what she wanted and when she goes for something, she always gets it.
it was like how in a day, she can master so many tricks students take a year to master.
she became better and wilder.
Bo Gum knew, that in years to come, she would become merciless.
and he hated to admit it but, he sure liked her that way more.
a little braver.
but way stronger.
