Jae Eun sighed in satisfaction as she pushed herself off the bed for the first time, holding onto the bed for support as she winced a little from the wound.

time to explor-

"What do you think you're doing?" a harsh yet soft voice spoke from behind her.

"Oh shit." she told herself.

The man ran to her and held onto her by the waist.

"I'm fine, Jimin. It's been almost a week! I'm gonna rot if I continue staying in this bed." She groaned, leaning onto him fully as they took small steps.

"I'm not saying that you can't move, baby. But you could've asked someone to accompany you, or ask for a wheelchair, or best, just wait for me?" Jimin sighed, making sure that he had a firm grip on her.

She laughed.

They kept quiet as they managed to leave the room and take unsteady steps towards where more people are at.

"Jimin," she called.

"Mhm."

"Can you let me, try walk by myself? My legs are numb and the doctor told me to try walking more because it lowkey triggered my spinal cord's nerve." she told him as they stopped walking.

She had lied about 'doctor told me to try walking more' but the rest was true.

She was just told to 'have a great rest and she can slowly start walking after recovering'.

"Don't lie to me, Jae. I know your condition better than you. Who do you think reports to me about your conditions everyday?" Jimin speaks into her ear.

"Oh." she pursed her lips.

"But I want to try..." she pouted at him, hoping that it would work.

"Jae..." Jimin glanced at her.

"Please..." she whined.

The man stared at her look for five seconds, then sighs in defeat.

"Fine, but only for awhile. And my hands can't be more than 5cm away from you." he strictly said.

"Yeah." she nods, then smiles at him.

When the boy let her go, she was already balancing well while standing.

He had his hands literally 5 centimetres away from her waist and shoulder.

She knew how to walk, all was great as she took a first few steps, a little unstable because of the numbness.

There really wasn't anything restricting her except for the sudden need to move.

Her legs felt all over the place, as if it multiplied.

She could feel the ground, but she couldn't at the same time.

She really had to walk more.

It was probably more of the fact that she stood up, because it made her dizzy more than her weak legs.

And before she knew it, her legs failed to keep her up as black spots started to appear in front of her, then disappear.

"Oh, oh shit." she mutters, then losing balance and feeling her body fall sideways like a crumbling mess.

But he caught her even before she knew it.

"That's it, Jae. We're getting you back in." the man says, frowning as if he was disappointed, he then lifted her feet off the ground as he carries her bridal style.
