"You're leaving today?"

"Yeah I'm so sorry baby, we might have to postpone the planning."

"It's fine, it's just..."

"I'm sorry, Jae. It's an emergency, I really can't ignore it."

"I know, I know. Don't worry about it. I'm just trying to mentally prepare myself. That's a 6 months business trip, Jimin."

"I know."

"Are you leaving now?"

"My flight's in 5 hours."

"Shit, I don't think I can make it- you know what, I'll be there."

"You don't have to, baby."

"You kidding? I'll be there, it's 6 months without my fiance."

"I know. That's why I'm coming over."

Jae's eyes widened, she stopped typing on her laptop as she stares at her phone contact name.

Jimin had just called her and told her he had to leave for a business trip in Japan, where his largest branch was at.

There were some important things to deal with, so it required a 6 month stay there.

She wasn't surprised at the sudden trip, she was surprised at the duration.

He had never left any longer than a month.

"You're coming over? But I still have work, baby." she whined, groaning at her job.

"You could, you know, take-"

"The day off. Sure thing, boss. I wish I could." she laughed, scanning through the papers.

"See? You called me boss for a reason. There's nothing impossible if my word is there."

She rolled her eyes, then looked at the clock, then back at her work.

Then to Jimin's face on her phone.

"Fine, half day off." she sighed, closing her files.

"Approved." she heard another voice from her door, making her jump.

"Jimin?" she laughed, "I didn't expect you to be here so quickly."

"I wanted to see you for as long as I can." he smiles, walking to her with his phone in the hand.

"Ms Kwon, this is-"

Jae Eun's secretary walked in, then paused when she saw Jimin.

Jimin as in, Park Jimin, her boss's boss.

Her boss's fiance.

whatever. it was the same.

"You think I could borrow your CEO for the rest of the day?" Jimin smirks at the secretary.

Jae raised her eyebrows, chuckling.

"O-of course. I'll have you covered, Ms Kwon. Have a nice day." the secretary bowed.

"Thank you, Jangmi. It means a lot, I'll give you the time back tomorrow." Jae smiled as the secretary gave them a last bow before leaving.

"Look at her, she's terrified. Don't scare my employees this way." Jae glared at her fiance playfully, then grabbed her back and walked to him.

He pulled her closer by her arm and leaned in 1 centimetre away from her lips, "Yes, my beautiful fiancee."

He then plants a short kiss on her before intertwining their fingers and giving her a look of a certain teenager she met when she was younger, "Ready?"
