"Park Jimin said that? wow." eunji leaned back into het chair, smirking at jae who rolled her eyes.

"it's only the first day of school and you already have the school's hottest boy in your fingertips. teach me some skills, honey." eunji playfully nudged jae.

"ask your brother. he was also one of the hottest boys in high school too." jae scoffed, standing up as she picked her bag up.

"nah, we're too awkward for that closeness." eunji shivered.

"where are you going?" she asked, frowning at jae's choice of dark clothes.

jae shrugged.

"Bo Gum wants to see me."

eunji pursed her lips in annoyance, "he should just take good care of his wife and daughter, why is he always pestering us? he's like a hungry soul chasing after us, telling us to kill people for his own good."

jae chuckled, wearing her shoes, "I mean, how about you tell him that right in his face?"

eunji nervously laughed, shaking her head.

"in this household, only you dare to and can disrespect Bo Gum like that." she pointed at jae.

jae just closed the door, rolling her eyes again.

jae lazily stood in front of Bo Gum in front of the convenience store.

he discreetly forced a brown A4 sized envelope, with stacks of documents inside into her hand.

"and what's this." she lifted it up, raising an eyebrow.

she didn't know why he was so secretive about this.

if he didn't want anyone to see, then meet her in LK or something.

"your new mission. just slightly more different, more dangerous." Bo Gum smiled, as if he was giving a discount.

jae's lips lifted to one side, then chuckling with sarcasm.

"interested in being a spy?" Bo Gum asked, clicking his tongue playfully.

jae just smiled, harshly pressing the envelope on his chest as he caught it almost immediately.

"no."

Bo Gum just panicked, shouting, "wait! yah you! yah-"

"yah?" jae turned around, laughing in disbelief.

bo gum pursed his lips, gulping.

"I just wanna say, this is a compulsory mission. it concerns the future of LK and I can only trust you, the best of the best to do it, okay? besides, you have your advantages in it, it should be easy for you." bo gum smiled, trying to convince jae.

"I'm sorry but my dream job is not to be a spy." jae crossed her arms.

"listen, just take this home, read it. everything is inside, okay? I don't need an answer for it. you need to go for this mission and complete it." bo gum's expression became serious as he threw the documents back at jae.

jae just chuckled at his sudden fatherly material.

"tell me you don't scold your daughter like this. cus if I were her, I might actually leave the house." jae took the envelope, then walked off without listening to bo gum's reply.
