Kim Namjoon was 15 when he had first done something illegal.

the boy stepped into the warehouse filled with noise.

he winced at the crowd.

everyone was cheering the same few names they had set a bet on.

majority chanted the name that was known to many in the underground.

Kim Namjoon's eyes averted to the boxing ring in the middle of the crowd.

the two men held onto each other, turning circles as the bulkier one started punching the abdomen of the other.

the shorter one jumped backwards from the punch, collapsing onto the floor.

the game had started for a very long time.

it was obvious based on the blood on the competitor's face and body.

he was losing.

Namjoon squeezed himself through the crowd, finally managing to have a better view of the man he was here for.

the boy sighed when the older man started punching the bulky dude back, from his face to his abdomen.

Namjoon wasn't really fond of underground boxing or even boxing.

so when he saw the mint haired collapse on the surface hardly, completely losing energy, he was glad that it was finally over.

but when three seconds were just counted, the man stood up again, then charging towards his rival.

Namjoon didn't know what he did at that point, but the bloody faced man won to everyone's surprise.

what Namjoon didn't expect was the grumpy attitude of the winner.

when Namjoon, just a year younger than him, approached him, the older boy was ready to throw hands at him.

"what do you want?" the mint haired said in annoyance, rolling his eyes as he picked his bag up, ready to leave.

"help me." was the only thing Namjoon told him after several rejections from the boy.

"they will kill my sister if I don't get you to join us." Namjoon was literally begging.

"so what? that doesn't give me a reason to join that stupid organisation."

Min Yoongi knew the pain of leaving your family.

but he wasn't stupid enough to drag himself into something he know he can never get out.

"they will come find you sooner or later anyways. by then, you'll realise how helpless you are." Namjoon wasn't threatening the man, he was giving Min Yoongi a chance.

the stupidest thing the 16 year old had done in his whole life was to run away from home.

had his family not strongly oppose his love for boxing, then maybe Min Yoongi wouldn't have came so far, earning money through illegal boxing.

"listen boy, I have nothing to lose. I lost everything even before I came to Seoul. so unlike you, I don't have anything important to me." Min Yoongi spat.

"please. I can't lose my sister. I'll do anything for you." Namjoon was close to crying.

Min Yoongi was surprised at how the large man would break into tears in front of him.

the boxer had seen how Kim Namjoon would go find him days after days, times after times, never once giving up because of his stingy attitude.

he had obviously seen the love in the boy.
