why must you judge my every part when you know I'm not even perfect?
...
"how do we do this question again?" taehyung glanced at jae who was focussed on her own work beside him in class.
"I've taught you this many times, try to figure it out by yourself again." jae smiled faintly at his procrastination of never listening to her.
the truth was, taehyung knew exactly how to do the question, he would always listen to her explanations even if chemistry was his worst subject. he wasn't stupid, he had his reasons to not studying.
he just wanted to strike a conversation with jae since she had been so quiet and unlike her the entire day in school.
but he seemed to have just made it worse.
sighing, he wrote the solution down, not even caring about his surroundings.
"Kim taehyung. answer this question." Mr choi dropped the chalk on the table and pointed at the blackboard with a full chemistry question, looking at taehyung.
gaping, the entire class stared at Mr choi and taehyung back and forth.
even jae had her eyes widened, hoping that Mr choi would choose someone else.
if taehyung didn't know that question just now, there's no way he would know that.
"can i-" jae wanted to volunteer to answer the question even though she knew taehyung had to learn and make mistakes to improve.
but taehyung held onto her hand tightly, he gave her a faint yet confident smile.
he hated the fact that to her, he was just a weak and poor student who knows nothing but lame pickup lines.
walking towards Mr choi, he grabbed onto the chalk, trying not to glare at Mr choi.
no one knew why Mr choi was smirking while looking at taehyung, the smirk he held was knowing, a sense of relief, and happiness.
as if he was saying, 'finally'.
not even taking the normal five to fifteen minutes he would to read the question, it was within 30 seconds that he started writing his first equation.
it was impossible for the others.
while some might be amazed at his looks while writing down the answers, some were surely surprised at his speed on knowing what to do.
oh and, have it been mentioned that jimin had always been in the class acing?
yet jimin didn't seem the slightest surprise at his pace, he seemed more like the, confused shock.
within a blink of an eye, taehyung harshly hit the board with the chalk to place a full stop to the end of the solution, making the chalk crack into half.
not even glancing back, he gritted his teeth before going back to his seat.
with everyone following his every move in awe and surprise, they stopped their own urge of clapping at his confusing solution.
"taehyung's solution had already explained everything due to his clear statements. I want everyone of you to learn from his way of answering. however, I understand it's a difficult question so I'll explain the steps." Mr choi was fully calm and aware.
"woah..." the class's voice said in unison, not knowing how to react to taehyung being the lowest in class all the time yet he knows how to answer a question they don't.
