stepped into the cold office, jimin's eyes fixated on the scenery that displayed Seoul as a whole.

and the person he was meeting did no justice to such a beautiful sight.

it's been so long.

he let out a small sigh as the atmosphere ate him coldly.

he's been spending his time hiding from the police he forgot how it was to see the city of Korea again.

"what gives you the time to come over at this timing?" the man spoke, not looking up from his laptop.

his son was a wanted criminal and he did not care?

"surprised?" jimin smirked lazily.

the old man kept quiet for a moment before looking at his son.

"I suppose you've received the message." Park Dowoon leaned back to his chair, intertwining his fingers together.

"you said you would give me time." jimin spoke, calm but agitated.

"I did but I did not say you could drag it for this long." the father narrowed his eyes at his son.

"long? I barely have time to talk to her because of all your stupid missions!" jimin fought with his father through the eyes.

Mr Park chuckled.

"you just don't want to do it, jimin. and you know what will happen if you don't." his voice suddenly becoming sharp and strict.

jimin flinched.

"I simply gave you a mission. and that was to kill Kwon Jae Eun. I wouldn't have done that if you kept to your words." Park Dowoon threatened.

"I did! I just needed more time! I agreed to the deal and I won't back out." it was the few times that jimin lost his 'composure' in front of his father.

flashback

"Jimin loves you, sir. he's so vulnerable, why do you never see that?"

jimin stopped in front of his father's study room, frowning.

that was jae's voice.

"you don't know anything. I did not kill her. Jimin is my son, you don't know anything about us. I never killed his mother. I would never."

why were they talking?

"yeah continue lying, lie to everyone. lie to yourself. but you can't lie to the truth."

"I'm not-"

"whatever you want to say, Mr Park. I won't continue entertaining your lies. just do what you want with me, stop playing games with everyone."

before the door opened, jimin made sure to hide behind the pillar as a fuming jae eun walked out.

confused, it seemed as if jae was the one lecturing his father.

he stood in front of the room, witnessing his father sigh as he sat back on his chair, lighting a cigar up.

"don't just stand there. I have something to talk to you about."

jimin lightly chuckled, of course he knew.

jimin after all, was trained by his own father before being placed in the cruel society.

"I'm going let Kwon Jae Eun off."

jimin's eyes widened, his mouth opened but was cut off by his father.
