after arriving at America, the first thing both of them did was check into their own rooms and have an even better sleep.
Jae Eun only went to meet Jimin in his room in the morning for breakfast (that was eaten in his room as well).
okay so the thing was, she woke up late since she forgot to set her country to Canada and her alarm didn't particularly ring the right time.
so when she woke up from her client calling her, she literally jumped.
only bothering to brush her teeth, she wore her sleeping outfit to meet Jimin since hes room was right beside his.
and when he opened the door, he was equally sleepy and surprised at the time.
"isn't my secretary supposed to wake me up?" Jimin joked, scanning her.
"can you at least feel a sense of urgency? you're supposed to meet a client very soon, Mr Park." Jae walked into the room, rummaging through his desk to find the menu for breakfast.
"why do I need to have a sense of urgency when I have you?" he spoke, tone however careful and serious.
he walked towards her, no longer keeping his joking attitude up.
"I may be your secretary but I'm not your nanny, sir." Jae mockingly said, rolling her eyes.
but when she saw Jimin keep quiet and continue to walk towards her, she felt herself getting nervous.
she didn't know why but his stare made her move backwards.
then he slammed his hands onto the edge of the table around her, trapping her.
gulping, Jae Eun looked away.
he leaned forward, making her push her chin downwards.
"you're wearing my hoodie." he spoke in a low voice.
looking down at her hoodie, her eyes widened. oh shit.
"to sleep." Jimin continued, then breaking into a small knowing smirk.
I mean, that's the only thing I have of you.
"why?" jimin's eyes grew red, his lips quivered.
Jae's body relaxed as she leaned onto the table with jimin's arms still around her.
"Mr Park if you think that everything is yours just because they look the same-"
"then are you mine? you're different." it seemed to be in a teasing way, yet it sounded serious as well.
Jae looked away, scoffing.
"stop lying to yourself, Jae. you're just being stubborn, I can recognise what's mine." Jimin pointed out, however quietly and gently.
"fuck off." Jae pushed his chest, making him step back.
she grabbed onto the phone, then called for breakfast service.
after ordering her meal, she glanced at Jimin who held no expressions.
"what do you want to eat?" she reluctantly asked, even though she knew what he would answer.
"you."
rolling her eyes, she threw the menu at him, "I'm sorry but I'm not part of the menu."
...
both of them were familiar with New York, afterall, they had both travelled here and either stayed here or came here many times.
