"why?" Jae asked, voice slightly shaking as everyone were as nervous as her.

"well it all started when-"

"Jungkook can you switch off the television? we're having a serious conversation here." Jin shouted from the kitchen table where almost everyone were gather together.

"Hyung you have to see this! Jimin-hyung!" Jungkook shouted back.

quickly, everyone ran to the living room, only to see Jungkook staring intensely at the TV screen.

"Park Dowoon of Park's group announces engagement in his family after a decade! who in the Park Family will have a marriage soon? Mister Billionaire's sudden announcement shocks everyone." the reported said, causing the rest to gasp.

the next thing came out was a footage of Park Dowoon speaking at a conference.

"-I am honoured to announce to everyone that my son, Park Jimin, will be engaged to the daughter of my partner and bestfriend, Mr Kang, the chairman of Kt. co." the old man spoke as the clicking of cameras went even crazier.

"what?" Jimin said, frowning.

"hold up, I thought you were engaged to Ara." Taehyung said.

"oh I forgot to mention that, I rejected it. I mean, I won't force you into marrying me when you are in a crazy love life." Ara spoke with guilt.

"well thanks but who's Mr Kang?" Jimin asked, confused.

"who's Park Dowoon?" Jae asked in return, face showing fear and anger suddenly.

"that's Jimin's father. you didn't know?" Namjoon asked, genuinely curious.

her eyes widened, she didn't know what to say right now.

"what's wrong?" Taehyung realised something was wrong.

she kept quiet, then looking at Jimin who looked back at her.

suddenly everything clicked.

running upstairs despite the calls of the others, she grabbed her coat and was about to leave the house.

"Jae! where are you going? it's dangerous outside!" Jimin hissed, grabbing onto her wrist.

she didn't know if telling them was the best choice now.

but she knew she firstly needed to go home.

"i-i just thought of some thing I left at home. I need to bring them over now." she lied, stuttering.

Jimin frowned, but his voice went soft, "we can get you there later. you don't have to rush. but can we discuss-"

"no!" Jae bursted, surprised by herself as well when Jimin blinked.

"i-i mean, it's really urgent. I suddenly remember something that my mother wants me to take with me everywhere I go. I'm sorry." she tried to leave the house but Jimin's grip said otherwise.

"Jimin someone is calling you!" Jin shouted from the back.

"go, someone I calling you. don't worry, I won't leave, I'll be right behind you. the call must be important." she cooed, forcing him to move.
