after that day, the couple found themselves avoiding each other.
more like the boy wasn't able to face the one he knew he would never bear to hurt or even touch.
he tried apologizing. and she told him she was fine with it.
she really was. she knew how jimin was as a person. he would never do that on purpose.
plus, she loves him too much to even be pissed at him. it was kind of scary.
but his own conscience was the thing he couldn't get over.
every time he sees her, he would look away with the thought that he was the cause of her panic that day.
I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it.
but he wasn't someone that would buy words so easily like they are the only things someone would need to be all friendly with someone else again.
and even though he knew the 17 year old girl forgave him, he just couldn't get over his own self.
I'll never hurt her again.
I cannot hurt her anymore.
I've hurt her enough.
although it wasn't actually his fault his father was tracking his girlfriend down and trying to kill her.
in this world, he knew there were things none of them can control.
that's why all he could do was protect her.
they had talked about it. about her father.
though none of them could bring any word out after she had accidentally spill the fact that she knows someone had deliberately caused the accident.
"there are things that's better without us knowing."
"you think so?"
"not that I do. it's a fact. that we're always into more trouble when we know something we shouldn't."
"so knowing that someone caused the accident just to kill my father is something I shouldn't know?"
then they had shut up about it.
they never really mentioned it anymore.
they both knew it was none of their faults.
even though jimin didn't say the part where he was growing more certain as of who caused the accident.
even though jae eun knew it was his father that did all this.
it was kind of ironic that jimin probably already knew that she knows.
but none of them really mentioned it into each other's face.
not after jimin confessed that he never really cared about his father since their relationship was normally mutual feelings.
maybe his cold expression while talking about that was enough to convince jae eun that jimin wasn't exactly supportive with it.
she knew jimin. at least enough to not be someone that does that. because doing that won't benefit him at all.
his kindness actually goes really far it makes one soften into a fluff ball whenever they really see his loveliness in everything around him.
maybe that's why he was so affected by that mistake he made.
jimin is just like this. he aims for perfection as he tries his best to attain whatever he aims for.
he knows there's no perfection in this world but he needs to be his own perfection under his own expectations.
