if you love me for who I am, then I will show you what it is to be loved for who you are.

...

"jae... are you okay?" sohye passed her a glass of water.

"yeah... I have to be, right?" jae looked at sohye, unsure of her own answer.

"we'll find out the truth. I promise. we can even ask them!" sohye stared into her eyes.

"they won't tell us. but what does jimin's father have against my father? this doesn't even make sense. who is jimin's father?" jae looked down.

"this sucks. I can't even trust them anymore." sohye openly said.

"trust? that's the stupidest lie I've ever heard from them." jae chucked bitterly.

"jae!" sohye suddenly stood up, pointing her index finger upwards like she had just been enlightened.

"what?" jae annoyingly replied.

"we have to find out what they meant back there. and I have the perfect solution." sohye grinned.

"and that is?" jae sighed.

"we'll fuck them up the same way they fucked us up." sohye proudly lifted her chin up.

"but they didn't fuck us up? yet?" jae said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"come on, they didn't even tell us something that they know about your father." sohye whined.

"fine but how do we...that them up?" jae found it weird and awkward to say the word even though she wasn't really caring about it.

"we force the truth out of them." sohye smirked.

"we can't actually do that." jae sighed.

"we can actually do that." sohye looked away with those full of tricks eyes.

"we simply touch their weak spot."

"if it's that easy, I would have done that sooner or later. in what world would we actually know what's their weak spot." jae stated, rolling her eyes.

"don't you understand, jae?" sohye sighed at her friend's stupidity.

"you're jimin's weak spot."

...

"sohye I'm getting a bad feeling about this. it has literally nothing to do with jimin and you don't know how scary he got when-"

"jae! that's enough. you wanna know why his father killed your father? you do this. it's not even your fault. plus, jimin lied."

"but-"

"jae, it's not like I'm going to tell him that you're kidnapped." sohye rolled her eyes.

jae stayed quiet, fiddling with her fingers.

"I'm calling him now." sohye gestured for her to keep quiet.

jae didn't mean to ask jimin about her father dying in such a way. plus, she wasn't even into doing these things. even if sohye calling jimin and disguising as some Mafia might work, she didn't want to lie to jimin.

when it was dialing and the speaker was switched on, jae kept silent together with sohye.

then the line came.
