Kwon Jae eun stepped on the man beneath her who struggled.

she reached for the gun beside her hip.

aiming it at his abdomen, she shot him once.

tongue in cheek, she tucked the gun back and sighed, running a hand through her black short hair.

"such a waste of time." she spat, kicking him once more before walking off.

when she stepped back into her place, Eunji was already waiting for her, smiling.

"five years in America for something like that? I shouldn't have came back to Korea." Jae threw her gun at the man behind Eunji.

"don't be such an ass, Jae. it's just the start." Eunji placed a hand on the girl's shoulder.

Jae kept quiet, not wanting to speak more.

five years ago, she left Korea with Eunji to America.

well it was for her studies and exposure.

she changed.

she could easily kill someone in the blink of an eye.

but she never did.

she would never shoot or stab them in places she knew they would die.

she disliked it no matter how long she would do that.

and to people she wasn't close to, she was a block of ice.

no one really wanted to get close to her.

just three days ago, she arrived in Korea and without having to settle down, she already had her first official mission.

sitting in the cafeteria, she played with her food when another tray appear beside hers and Eunji's.

"so how's it in Korea so far?" Bo Gum flashed her a smile.

Jae didn't answer, continuing to poke her food.

"are you seriously getting colder and colder as you grow older? wow I'm shivering." Bo Gum said, exaggerating.

"if the today six years ago, your father died, would you want to share about your experiences in university?" Jae spoke, not looking at the man.

Bo Gum sighed.

of course he knew it was Minjae's death anniversary.

he just didn't want Jae to feel sad.

"I most definitely wouldn't be killing someone." Bo Gum chuckled.

"are you seriously telling me that?" Jae scoffed.

Bo Gum shrugged, already finishing his food.

"it's time you move on, Jae. from everything, from your past, your father's death, your mother's condition, and also Park Ji-"

"mention his name again and you won't see your tongue attached to your mouth tomorrow." Jae stood up, already walking.

Bo Gum smirked, raising his hands in surrender.

Eunji glared at him, "you know she hates talking about that freaking park garden!"

"in my defense, I don't. I barely spoke to her the last five years. I expected her to be over him. but I guess not." Bo Gum smirked playfully.

Eunji rolled her eyes, then leaning nearer to Bo Gum, making sure no one hears her.

"you don't even know. she dreams about him, cries for him, accidentally shouts his name, everything about her shouts 'I love Park-"
