Chapter 2: Amber Bubbles Aguilar

Amber's POV

I am excited and nervous at the same time. First time ko kasi 'to. Fortunately, I convinced my Mom and Dad to let me enroll into a private school. Yung boys and girls.

Because ever since I started schooling, Palagi akong nasa all girls school. My parents doesn't let me socialize with people I do not know.

I am currently hugging my pink cute Tedd bear today while jumping down the staircase.

I saw Manang in the kitchen and I greeted her.

"Ba't parang ang saya mo ngayon, alaga ko?" tanong ni Manang

"Manang! I will enroll into a private school!" I happily said and Manang got confused

"Oh? Wala namang bago. Diba private ka na noon pa?" Manang said and I shook my head

"Mag-aaral na ako sa boys and girls school! Natupad na ang isa sa mga pangarap ko Manang!" I said and hugged her tightly

Manang didn't respond kaya I looked at her.

"Manang are you okay? Why are you tulala?" I asked and she smiled when she recovered from being frozen for a moment

"Masaya ako para sayo" Manang said and hugged me back

There is something wrong with Manang talaga. But! I'm so happy today.

I fixed myself and looked at the time.

"Amber! Go wash yourself! After that we'll go to your school" I heard Mom shouted from her room

Probably she is watching her favorite TV show now. Mom is very fond of watching TV shows, local or international.

I happily went up to my room and put Tedd bear on my sofa on the edge of my bed. I went inside the bathroom and started taking a bath. I looked for my favorite clothes and put it on.

I went out my room and Manang called me to eat dinner. My parents decided to enroll me after dinner time. Open pa naman daw yung school.

I sat on the seat next to Dad and as usual, Mom and him will talk about business. Clients. And whatsoever. I rolled my eyes and finished eating.

"Amber, you're done? Your so fast. Eat more. You're getting thinner." Mom said and I snorted at her

"Denise said that I am getting fatter. Now you're telling me Mom that I am getting thinner?" I said and Mom chuckled

"I was just kidding. You're too excited for your school. Eat more" Mom said but I refused by saying,

"I'm full. I'll just brush my teeth upstairs"

I went up and did what I told them. Pagkatapos ay bumaba na ako. I saw Mom and Dad just sitting on the couch.

"Mom! Dad! We'll be late for school!" I said and they rose up from their seat

"Okay. Let's go" Dad said and called Driver Joe to give him his car keys

I hopped inside the backseat of our car and squeezed my Tedd bear. He's so cute. He is my sweet pink baby.

I looked for my phone and saw it on the dashboard. I jumped and went in front.

"Amber! Settle down on your seat" Mom said and Dad chuckled

I giggled before apologizing to Mom and I went back to my seat. I secured my seatbelt and opened my phone.

Now where is my favorite song? Aha!

"Amber? We're here" Mom said and I stopped the music

I put my phone inside my sling bag and went out the car.

I ran towards Mom and Dad who is waiting for me in front of the Dean's office. Mom knocked and I heard a voice telling us to go in. I'm so excited!

Mom opened the door and I saw an old lady at the back of a brown table filled with papers. I smiled when her gaze landed on me.

"Mr. Aguilar, good evening. I'm very happy that you came kahit last hour" she said and Dad smiled

"We got into some discussions awhile ago" Dad said and I looked at him

What discussion? Anyways, I sat beside Mom and I pulled out my phone and played a car racing game.

After minutes of talking the Dean welcomed me in the school with a handshake. I smiled at the old lady and Mom and I went out the office.

"Where do you want to go, Bubbles?" Dad asked and I frowned

"Dad! I said call me Amber" I said and I saw Dad pouted at me

"Why? I was the one who gave you that name. Bubbles. It's pretty right?" Dad said and I looked at him with are-you-serious look

Yes, Dad. Very pretty.

I said to myself and mentally rolled my eyes. Geez.
