Chapter 25: Semestral Break's Here
Bryan's POV:
Months have passed. Nothing was trivial except the fact that Amber went back to school again. But this time, I will always be with her anytime and anywhere.
Kapag pupunta siya sa canteen, kasama ako. Sa room, hinahatid ko. Sa bathroom, binabantayan ko. Wherever she go I am always there. I can't sit down there and wait until her disease strikes again.
"Bryan? Are you there?" tanong sa akin ni Amber who is currently inside the women's bathroom
"Yeah, I'm here. Why? What is wrong?" I asked her with a worried face
"Can.....can you get me pads and undergarments?" she asked with a low voice
Even though her voice was like a whisper,I understood eventually.
"Okay, I'll get it for you." I said and I knocked three times on the women's bathroom
"Stay there for awhile, Amber. I'll be back quickly. Stay there and wait for me, okay?" I asked and waited for her response
"Okay. Understood." she said and I ran quickly
Break time ngayon so surely madami ang tao sa paligid. God, I need to get her those. I don't want her to be in pain for so long. I ran as fast as I could to the infirmary.
I was running and running along the hallway not minding the people I bump into. There was one student I bumped and she dropped all of her stuffs.
"Sorry" I said and handed her stuffs into her arms
After that I arrived at the infirmary.
"Excuse me, Miss? Do you have pads and underwear?" I asked and the nurse complied
She rummaged the cabinet and found what I was looking for.
"Here" she said and gave me the plastic bag with all the stuffs inside
"Thank you" I said and ran again back to the bathroom
"Amber? I am already here. Here are the stuffs you asked for." I said in between my breathing
The door opened and her hands reached for the plastic. She got it and I waited for her for about 5 minutes before she got out. She smiled at me awkwardly and started to walk.
As she was walking in front of me, I noticed a stain on her back. I hurriedly put my jersey on her waist. She stopped walking and looked at me.
"Thank you......." she said and I nodded
"Let's go to the locker room. Palitan natin ang skirt mo. It has stain on it." I suggested and she nodded abruptly
"By the way, kanino tong jersey?" tanong niya sa akin
"It's mine. Hindi mo alam? I'm a varsity dito sa university natin." sabi ko and she was surprised
"Talaga? Mamaya titingnan ko kung sayo talaga to." she said
"Wait. You don't believe me? Varsity talaga ako!" I remarked and she giggled sweetly
"I bet you're lying!" she said and ran before I could held her waists
"Hey! Comeback here!" sigaw ko sakanya but she stuck her tongue out to tease me
I shook my head in disbelief because of her actions.
"Unbelievable. You're making me fall even harder, baby" I whispered to myself before running towards her again

Amber's POV
Bryan caught up with me and told me to change into a new skirt or jeans because he will go to the cafeteria quickly.
I smiled and nodded to him before changing my stained skirt.
Mabuti na lang may skirt akong extra sa locker. I went inside the comfort room and changed my skirt into this black one. Nakasuot ako ngayon ng black and white striped T-shirt, a black skirt, black socks and boots.
I really love KPOP at its highest kaya ganito ang outfit ko. My hair is in a high ponytail at nakadagdag pa ang jersey ni Bryan. Speaking of jersey, I looked at the back of the jersey. Ang nakalagay 'VILLEGAS'.
Well, pwedeng kay Brix to diba? But then, I saw the name 'BRYAN' sa left arm ng jersey and sa right arm naman yung position niya sa team.
Color white and jacket ng varsity team. Which perfectly fits my OOTD.
I smiled and went out the comfort room fully dressed. I also wore the jersey. Hindi ko na linagay sa waist ko kasi nakapalit naman na ako.
And when I went out,Bryan was standing there. With a milk tea on his both hands.
"Here, I bought it for you. I know how you love milk tea. Don't worry, it's warm." he said and I smiled
"Thank you" sabi ko at nagsimula nang inumin ang milk tea
We were walking in the hallway in silence hanggang sa nagsalita si Bryan.
"Amber" she called and I looked at him
"Bakit?" tanong ko sakanya while sipping my milk tea
"Semestral break is approaching. Do you have any plans?" he asked and my brows creased
Now that I think about it, wala nga pala akong plans. I might stay in the house or so but that would be boring. Kahit tanungin ko man sina Mom and Dad, they won't go with me for they still have their own business to attend to.
"No. I did not even think about it anyway. Ikaw?" tanong ko
"Well, Brix and I planned on going to Thailand. We wanted to see the lanterns and light one for ourselves." sabi niya and I nodded
"Maganda yan. That would be nice if I could also go. But I'm not sociable." I joked and Bryan frowned
"Amber. Don't joke around like that. It's not funny at all." sabi ni Bryan which made me feel guilty a bit and sad at the same time
"Totoo naman yun eh..." I said softly in a low voice
"Kahit na. Anyways, pwede ka rin sumama. I will talk to Tito and Tita for you. Isama mo na rin yung best friend mo. You haven't seen her for awhile, right?" tanong niya sa akin at tumango naman ako
"Right, hindi ko na rin siya nakikita these past few months" I said remembering my best friend Denise
"Then it's settled! Sasama ka together with Denise and Brix. Tayong apat!" he remarked and I looked at him with big eyes
"Hey! I didn't say anything!" I said and he started running away
"Nope. The four of us will go. No buts!" he said and stuck his tongue out
I grimaced but smiled eventually. Bryan Villegas, what did you do to me?
