Chapter 40: Let's Play Ball

Amber's POV

It was Sunday and Bryan promised to take me to the basketball court. He said he'll teach me how to play basketball.

Pero naglalaro ba siyang basketball? For all I know very focused siya sa studies niya noong nag-aaral pa kami. And I never heard of him playing basketball. Based on what I know hindi din naman siya part ng varsity team nung college. Oh! Oo part pala siya ng varsity team ng university namin. 

I'm really excited to see him play. I wore a black leggings and a white shirt. Hinanap ko din yung basketball sleeveless shirt ni Bryan. May nakalagay doon na Villegas and the number 4 at sa harap naman ay may nakalagay na Architecture. It was black at sinuot ko na lang siya kasabay nung white shirt ko.

I looked for the cap na kasabay nang shirt na ito. Luckily I found it and I wore a white rubber shoes.

Nagbaon ako ng extra shirt and lots of towels para hindi ako matuyuan ng pawis. I brought two Gatorade and I was ready to go.

Bryan texted na malapit na raw siya. I waited for five minutes at sumakay na ako sa kotse niya.

We headed to the basketball court near their mansion at doon ko nakita si Brix and probably a few of Brix's friends. They were tall and masculine na mukhang mga basketball player talaga.

"Brother! Kanina ka pa namin hinihintay." Brix said

"Hi Amber!" Brix greeted at ngumiti ako sa kanya

"Hi Brix. Are those your friends?" tanong ko at sinulyapan ang mga gwapong lalaki

"They're our cousins" Bryan answered at nanlaki ang mata ko

Pinsan niya?! Omg. So kasama ko ngayon ang mga lalaki ng Villegas family?!

"Relax babe. They won't eat you" Bryan said and I calmed down

I inhaled and exhaled bago naglakad papunta sa direksyon ng mga pinsan ni Bryan.

"Hi Bryan! Mabuti naman at dinala mo ang future Villegas. Hi, nice meeting you soon to be Villegas. I'm Patrick Earl Villegas." he said and smiled charmingly

"Kuya Earl you're scaring her" a boy said na feeling ko mas bata pa kaysa sa amin

"By the way, I'm Priam Laurence Villegas" he said and I just smiled

"Hi, I'm Phoenix George Villegas" a mature and handsome looking guy waved and smiled

"I'm Patrick Ezekiel" a bored looking guy half smiled

"Patrick Evans, nice meeting you" he smiled and his dimples showed

"Prick Drake Villegas" isang kyut na lalaki ang ngumiti and he dribbled the ball

"Peter Dane" he simple said at tinalikuran na kami

"Prince Daniel, nice meeting you señorita" a mestiso guy said and I smiled

"Hi, I'm Amber Bubbles Aguilar. It's a pleasure to meet you all po" I said and they just nodded in return

"Hey, Priam! Nasaan si Ate mo?" Kuya Ezekiel asked

"She's on the way back na daw po. She already bought us drinks." Priam answered and they all shouted 'Yes' in unison

"Pupunta si Piper?" Bryan asked and I looked at him confused

"Oo. Hindi mo alam? Well she's harmless, at least that's what I know" Kuya Phoenix said and they shook their heads in disagreement

"She's harmful!" Kuya Earl shouted and they tensed

"That was a very nice joke" someone said from behind

I looked back and saw a very dark aura around a very pretty girl.

"P..piper! It was only a joke!" Kuya Earl defended and that Piper just rolled her eyes

"Hi, Ate! I'm Piper Lauren Villegas nice to meet you." she said to me and I smiled in return

"Let's just play basketball" Kuya Dane said and they all nodded

"Sumama ka lang kay Piper, ha? She's harmless naman. Huwag kang maniwala kay Kuya Earl. I'll be back shortly, babe" Bryan said and kissed my forehead

"Hi" I said to Piper who is currently eating an apple

"Oh, hi" she said and I can see that she is bored

"Are you bored?" tanong ko at huminga siya ng malalim

"Well yeah. Pero wala naman akong magagawa. I always stick around kung saan man pupunta ang mga pinsan ko. They're quite a handful" she said and I giggled

"Do you have a boyfriend?" tanong ko and she blushed

"Meron po." she said and I nodded

"Dapat sinama mo siya dito. Your cousins already know about him naman na diba?"

"Alam na po nila. Tsaka ayokong isama si Carlito dito. They would just bully him kung sakaling sinama ko siya. Mga bully yan eh." Piper said and I smiled

"By the way, Ate Amber. Can I ask you something?" tanong niya sa akin at tumingin ako sa kanya

"Sure. Ano ba yung tanong mo?"

"Gaano.....gaano katagal mo nang  boyfriend si Kuya Bryan?" she hesitantly asked at natigilan ako

"Gaano katagal? Wait let me think about it." sabi ko at inisip kung gaano na ba kami katagal

We never celebrated our monthsary and such kasi ayoko. It's a waste of money kasi.

"Honestly, hindi ko alam eh. Pero medyo matagal na rin kami. Why did you ask?" tanong ko at nagkibikit balikat siya bago sumagot

"Kasi ikaw pa lang ang unang babae na sumama sa mga ganitong pangyayari. Mostly kasi, my cousin's girlfriends would say no kapag tinatanong nila kung gustong sumama sa mga hangouts. Wala din akong kaclose kahit isa sa mga girlfriends nila." she said and pouted

I patted her head and smiled.

"We can be close. Or if you want I can be your best friend"

"Talaga po? Thank you!" she shouted and hugged me

I hugged her back and giggled. She's so cute.

"Kapag nagkita tayo ulit dapat kasama mo na yung boyfriend mong si Carlito ha? I'd like to meet him in person" I said at tumango siya

"Aww babe. Hug mo din ako" biglang sumulpot si Bryan at ngumiti ako

"You're sweaty all over. Magpalit ka muna" I teased and he pouted

"Sige huwag na lang pala. Kapag hinug mo ako you'll smell sweat" Bryan said

Tumayo ako at hinug ko siyang bigla. He was trying to get away from my grasp but he gave up eventually.

"Hindi ako magiging amoy pawis kapag hinug kita" I stated

"Bakit naman?" Bryan asked and I smiled to myself

"Because instead of sweat I'll smell as Pierce Bryan Villegas. And I would die just to smell like that"
