Chapter 39: A Day With Her
Bryan's POV:
I wasn't really up for something trivial pero nung makita ko ang text message sa akin ni Amber I had all the energy na.
[Hello?] her sweet voice answered my call and a smile crept on my face
"You said you wanted to see me? You miss me that much huh?" I teased and a long silence followed
I can imagine her blushing while pouting. Such a cutie. I could stare at her cute face all day.
[Stop.....stop teasing me!] she answered and I chuckled
[I'll stop this call kapag hindi ka tumigil sa pang-aasar mo] she warned and that made me stop
"Sorry babe. I was just delighted by the fact na you texted me to say that you miss me." I said
"Get ready babe. I'll pick you up after 30 minutes. Love you"
[I love you most] she answered and she hung up
I smiled to myself while her words lingered in my head. I scanned my closet on what I should wear.
I chose to wear black pants, a yellow summer polo shirt and partnered it with my white shoes. I got my sunglasses at nagpaalam kay Manang.
Mom is currently out of the country, kasama niya si Dad and they are doing some corporate stuffs.
Paglabas ko nang bahay nakita ko si Brix. He was wearing a simple white tees which is tucked in his maong pants. He was wiping off the dirt on his white shoes and was cursing.
"You're heading out?" I asked and he smirked at me
"Yeah. I'm going on a date brother" he bragged and I shook my head
"With whom?" tanong ko
"Denise. I convinced her for the first time to go on a real date with me. Isn't it great?" he said and I can see that he was very happy
"Basta huwag mong sasaktan si Denise. Amber will loathe you if you hurt her best friend. I'll get going" I said and he only nodded
I started the engine and drove to Amber's house.
Amber's POV
After the call ended I rushed to my closet. Ano bang pwede kong isuot?
I stared out the window and saw the hot weather outside. I should get something thin para hindi mainit.
I pulled out my yellow hanging polo shirt and partnered it with a high waist black shorts. I picked my white rubber shoes para comfortable lang ako.
I searched for my native handbag na galing Indonesia. Mom bought it for me. I put my phone, wallet and my sunglasses inside. Hindi ko din kinalimutan yung meds ko. I needed those. Badly.
After I put a lip balm on narinig ko na yung kotse ni Bryan. He was pulling over to our house.
Bumaba ako at nagpaalam sa head maid na aalis ako at pakisabi na lang kina Mom.
When I saw him I was surprised. Parehas kami ng suot omg. I blinked for a few times para siguraduhing yun talaga ang damit ni Bryan.
"Hi babe." he greeted and kissed my forehead
"Hi" I shyly said and got inside his car
"I like your outfit, it goes well with mine" he said while driving and he held my hand before kissing it
"I love you" ngumiti ako nang sinabi niya yun
"I love you more" I answered back and he smirked
"I love you most" I giggled dahil hindi siya nagpapatalo
That's why I love this guy. Aftet a few minutes we arrived at a resort.
"Bakit tayo nandito?" tanong ko dahil wala pa naman akong dala na swimsuit
"Kakain lang tayo dito. I tried their menu and it was fantastic. Sigurado akong magugustuhan mo dito. And the resorts theme suits our outfits don't you think?"
"Tara gusto ko nang kumain" sabi ko at hinila siya papasok
True to his words. The foods we ordered were fantastic. I couldn't help but eat. Ang sarap ng mga pagkain!
Pagkatapos namin sa resort Bryan drove us to an amusement park. Hindi kami sumakay sa kahit anong rides kasi ayokong mahilo ulit si Bryan. He is not really a fan of extreme rides.
Inaya ko na lang siyang maglaro upang makuha niya yung malaking teddy bear na gusto ko. He won't stop playing haggang sa makuha niya yung teddy bear. In the end, his car was loaded with all sorts of plushies. The plushies were cute though and he couldn't resist but say yes.
Last na pinuntahan namin ay ang isang park. The park was full of happy people walking around. I sat on a bench nearby and inhaled the fresh air.
"Do you like it here?" tanong ni Bryan at tumingin ako sa kanya
"I love it here" sagot ko and adored the place
"Halika, this park has a small mountain na pwede nating lakarin papunta sa taas. Mas maganda daw doon and the top of the mountain has lots animals na pwede mong hawakan."
"Then what are we waiting for? Tara na!" I said and Bryan chuckled before leading the way
After a four or five minutes walk we reached the top of the small mountain. Bryan was right, there were lots of animals.
I pulled out a bread and fed the birds chirping around. They were so happy and so was I. When I looked at Bryan, he was taking pictures of me so I smiled for the camera.
"I think I saw a cute rabbit just around here. Want to help me look for it?" he asked and I nodded
Hindi kalayuan may nakita nga kaming baby rabbits na nasa box.
"Are they for sale?" I asked the old man na nagbabantay sa mga baby rabbits
"Oo hija. Gusto mo bang bumili? Cute naman lahat ng mga rabbit na ito. Pili ka na!" sabi niya at ngumiti ako
I scanned the four baby rabbits in the box. I then spotted the most charming one of them. A white baby rabbit with a brown spot on its left eye. Its eye color is different from each other. The left is blue while the right is green.
"Can we buy this?" I asked Bryan and he nodded
"Of course. Manong here's our payment. Can we also buy that black cage at your back?" tanong ni Bryan at ipinamili na din ni Manong yung cage
"I'll call him Pierce" I said and stared at the baby rabbit
"Why Pierce? Let's call it Bubbles" Bryan said and I glared at him
"Bubbles is a female name. Pierce fits him well" sabi ko
"Hindi mo nga alam kung babae ba yan o lalaki" Bryan said
"Fine. Kapag babae siya we'll call her Bubbles. Pero kapag lalaki we'll call him Pierce. Agree or agree?" tanong ko at tumawa siya
"Wala naman akong choice, right? I agree" he said and we made a pinky promise
"Whatever the gender of this baby rabbit we'll accept it as our baby" he said and I nodded
"We have our baby na!" I happily said and he hugged me tightly
"I love you" he said and hugged me tighter
"And I love you" sabi ko at hinayaan siyang iback hug ako
