Chapter 28: Samahan Mo Ako

Amber's POV

Recently everything went smoothly as I expected and nothing much trivial happened except...........yung pupunta kaming Thailand.

Ngayon dito pupunta si Bryan para ipaalam ako. We will go somewhere today but hindi niya sinabi kung saan.

Alam na din nina Mom and Dad yung about sa Thailand thingy. They approved as long as I won't separate from Bryan or the others.

Nakaupo lang ako ngayon sa sofa at hinihintay si Bryan. I wasn't really prepared kasi hindi pa ako naliligo. I didn't bother or I am just lazy. Kumakain ako ngayon ng favorite kong chocolate cake. Isang rectangular chocolate cake ang nasa center table at kalahati na lang yun ngayon.

I am wearing my usual clothes when I am just in the house. Wearing my yellow T-shirt partnered with a maong shorts and a red belt while seating in the sofa.

"Amber? Bakit hindi ka pa naliligo? Papunta na dito si Bryan diba? Maligo ka na sa taas" Manang said and I pouted

"Opo Manang" I answered out of politeness

As much as I want to sit here and finish the whole cake, I can't. At sigurado din ako na papunta na dito si Bryan.

Though I was still enjoying my cake I decided to stand up. Manang is right, I should at least have some effort to take bath.

Nagmadali akong naligo dahil nagtext na si Bryan. He is on the way to our house. 

Pumasok ako sa bathroom ng kwarto ko and finished taking a bath in a flash. I went out at ngayon kaharap ko na si closet.

Nandito ako ngayon sa walk in closet ko and now, I am having difficulties in searching for clothes. There are thousands of clothes in this room.

I chose a yellow hoodie and partnered it with a black sweatpants na may yellow line sa gilid. Nagsuot din ako ng white fit crop top inside my hoodie kasi hindi naman pwedeng undergarments lang sa loob. The crop top has short sleeves and it was really fit to my body.

I partnered my outfit with a white shoes. Parang pupunta lang ako sa gym in my outfit pero sabi din ni Bryan sa akin, wear comfortable clothes daw. Then comfortable clothes it is.

I went down the stairs and there I saw Bryan sitting comfortably in the sofa.

He was wearing a grey sweatpants. It was partnered with a grey T-shirt and he was holding his black hoodie in his arms. Naka white shoes din si Bryan gaya ko.

"Stop eating my cake" I said and pouted at his direction

He was eating my 3/4 rectangular chocolate cake na ngayon ay 1/2 na lang. How could he?

"Amber! Sorry I ate your cake. Sabi kasi ni Manang matagal ka pa daw so I ate it out of boredom" he explained and I frowned

"Still bayaran mo yan" sabi ko at hinanap si Manang para magpaalam na aalis na kami

Nakita ko si Manang sa kitchen at nagpaalam na ako sa kanya. Tumango lang si Manang at ngumiti bago ako tumalikod upang lumabas.

"Fine. I'll buy a new one" Bryan said when I was about to enter our car not his

Ngumiti ako ng malawak at sumakay sa kotse niya. Yes! I have a new cake.

"Dadaan muna tayo sa supermarket. May bibilhin din ako." Bryan said and I just nodded

Mabilis lang ang bahay dahil walang masyadong traffic papunta sa supermarket. Bago lumabas, sinuot ni Bryan yung black niyang hoodie. Lumabas na din ako at sinundan siya papasok.

Everyone was staring at Bryan. Geez. You can have him. I rolled my eyes dahil tumitili pa yung mga babae na nadadaanan namin.

While staring at the girls with a glare, Bryan suddenly grabbed my hand and intertwined it to his. I blushed and the girls grunted.

"Ang bagal mo maglakad. Pumili ka na ng cake." sabi ni Bryan and I saw the sweet shop in front of us

Pumili na lang ako ng chocolate cake. It was the most expensive out of all the cakes there pero binili na lang ni Bryan.

Pagkatapos namin doon, pumunta kami sa supermarket. Bumili ng snacks si Bryan at nakatayo lang ako doon at hinihintay siyang matapos.

Pumasok na kami sa kotse and he started driving. Not being long on the road, we arrived. His house.

"Bakit tayo nandito?" tanong ko but he just smiled

Hinila niya ako papasok ng bahay niya at wala pa ring bago. The walls are still painted but this time, iba na ang mga nandoon. His brother must have painted it anew.

His house was refreshing. The sofas were also changed into a light brown sofas that compliments the color of the interior.

Lumabas kami sa backdoor and Bryan went upstairs papunta sa kwarto niya. May kukunin daw siya.

Umupo ako sa grass at tiningnan ang langit. It was so peaceful to look at. I then decided to lay down when an arm caught my head before falling to the grass.

"Bryan." tawag ko sakanya and he smiled

"I brought my camera." he happily said and lay down beside me

Pinalitan niya din ng isang blanket ang kamay niya bilang unan ko. He stretched his arms upward the his both hands gripping on the camera.

He took a picture of the sky.

He stood up afterwards and took a picture of me looking at him.

"Hey! Delete mo yun!" sigaw ko and tried to run after him pero mabilis talaga ako tumakbo guys

It's sarcasm.

Sumuko na rin ako nang tumago si Bryan sa likod ng puno. Sumimangot ako at sumunod sakanya. So frantically speaking, we are face to face right now.

"Amber.........galit ka ba?" tanong niya at tumawa lang ako

"Bakit naman ako magagalit?" pabiro kong tanong sakanya

"Kasi I won't delete your picture. Okay lang ba?" tanong niya sa akin

"Okay lang ano ka ba! Souvenir mo na yan sa akin. Remembrance kumbaga." I sadly said

"Amber.......please don't say things like that. Why did it sound like you are going to leave me?" Bryan said at bakas sa tono ng boses niya ang lungkot

"Bryan......I.....my time is limited. At alam kong alam ko yun. So please, just let me be like this." I said and tears started falling down my eyes

Bryan suddenly walked towards me and stand at my back. Afterwards, I just felt his warm hug. Back hug. One of the things I like the most.

He placed his head on my shoulders and pouted.

"Amber, kahit anong mangyari, please promise this." he said and formed a pinky swear with his hands

"Promise you what?" tanong ko in between my tears

"Promise me that whatever happens to the world, you won't leave me. You'll stay by my side at sasamahan mo ako. Promise?" he said and I smiled bitterly

Bryan, gustuhin ko mang samahan ka, I think I just can't. God had planned my end too early and the only choice I have is to enjoy my remaining days with people that I love, you. Kaya Bryan, ayoko ng promises kasi me myself knows that I will just break it.
