Sohrin's POV

It passed midnight, yet I was still wide awake. Jungkook was deep asleep next to me, I could only stare at him.

My mind couldn't process anything that was taking place in my life at this second. Seeing Jungkook so calm and loving was also extremely confusing. What shocked me even more was when I searched for a few contacts in my phone.

An entire year had passed. All my contacts were vanished and the only thing that was there in my phone was Jungkook's contact  number. I had so many doubts in my mind.

I didn't want it to affect me. Even after what he did, I still found myself in love with his innocence. But why are these things happening to me?

My eyes kept wandering around in the room and I noticed a black figure on the wall. Almost as if it were the shadow of a woman. My instincts made me rise up in my feet and walk towards it.

After a few seconds I was shocked at what I was doing. I wanted to go back but my feet wouldn't listen to me. I kept walking towards it and soon my eyes met those of a woman.

I could recognize her terribly well, like I just met her yesterday. She was the same woman who I wanted to buy that necklace from. The one who was selling vintage items in a forest, the same woman who caused a fight between me and Jungkook for the very first time.

The same dark black patches around her eyes, the same black gown that addressed her pale face. I was struck, unable to move from how fast my heart was beating.

It was as if my entire body being controlled when I suddenly screamed for Jungkook.

"Sohrin!"  He shouted in a hoarse voice before pulling me to him and covering me in his arms. Like all the fear in my soul broke out, I started shivering. My lips quivered and I wasn't able to utter a single word.

I couldn't help but turn, my eyes frowning as the woman was no longer standing where she stood earlier.

My heart was still beating at an extremely fast pace, my palms sweaty and my body just like ice cold. Jungkook kept rubbing my entire back and arms as he hugged me tight.

My chin was placed on his shoulder as he tried helping me calm down. My breathing was slowly back in proper condition and Jungkook slowly pulled me apart to take a good look of my face.

"Are you okay?!" He asked, his eyes wide open to see through me, whether I was doing okay or not.

I looked down before nodding, my mind completely blank after the incident that just took place.

What was that woman doing here? Was she some kind of a ghost? A spirit? Or just a part of my imagination?

She felt so real. Her gaze that was eating me alive still running through my head.

Jungkook kissed my forehead before staring into my eyes. I felt comfortable somehow. Not scared of the fact that he might just try to kill me like the last time.

I smiled at him but he wasn't ready to accept it, he needed a full answer.

I gave him a small smile before embracing my lips with his, my arms holding him gently by his neck. He was startled of my sudden action, but soon replied to my kisses, I could still feel the sparks flowing in me. The same way when we first kissed.

I pulled away from his lips and placed my forehead on his, nuzzling our noses together.

"I'm fine." I said and he looked me in the eyes.

He nodded with his gaze on the floor. His arms fell and picked me up from the cold floor, he led us to the bed and placed me carefully. His hands so gentle whenever he touched me, it made me fall deeper for him.

He laid beside me before hugging my waist, covering our bodies with the warm blankets. His head was at the crook of my neck, his slight breathing tickling me.

I caressed his neck until my thoughts stopped me.

He hadn't met Mark that often, but he sure knew who he was.

"Jungkook." I called softly so that I wouldn't wake him up incase he was already asleep.

"Do you have any idea why Mark isn't picking my calls?" I asked and his body went stiff. His palm which was caressing my lower back, suddenly turning frigid and cold.
