BOOK - 2
The second book was completely based on Jungkook and the lost spirit. The woman who constantly appeared in Sohrin's dreams.
The woman kept finding ways to make it clear to Sohrin about Jungkook, but somehow she was always stopped.
Jaowon could sense it from Sohrin and start by making her forget about Mark, after spending an entire year with Sohrin, he managed to win all of her trust.
Jungkook got a job and so did Sohrin within the time.
Jaowon raged on whenever Sohrin brought up anything related to the old woman. It started off by the painting Jungkook destroyed.
The woman helped Sohrin through dreams. Sohrin saw the old Jeon Mansion and also how Jungkook used to be abused. She wasn't able to understand Jungkook's relationship with the woman though.
Sohrin knew how Jungkook despised the woman and was more intrigued in finding out the truth.
Eventually, the woman started appearing outside her dreams. She made contact with her more often. Even appeared as a teenage girl at Sohrin's workplace.
All that to bring Sohrin closer to acknowledging Jungkook's secret.
At the university where Sohrin taught, she was lead by the woman to a washroom in the disguise of a student named Jihye. There she revived Sohrin's memories, as much as she could.
After that Sohrin remembered Mark, she knew of how Jungkook turned into something unimaginable that day. It was hard for her to believe.
When she left the university, she wanted to find out about Mark. Completely forgetting about the fact that he was already dead. When Jungkook came to her all worried, she was tensed.
Worried that Jungkook was going to kill her too. Just like how he tried to before, she was more careful around him.
After that Jihye, the student that was the reason to how Sohrin was able to regain her memories vanished. No one knew of her anymore.
Meanwhile, Jungkook was trying his best to get out of his prison. He started coming out to the surface more often.
Sohrin described Jungkook to have different shades to his eye color at times. That indicated his character, light brown pupils were Jungkook. Whereas, pitch black pupils belonged to Jaowon.
Sohrin was doubtful of how Mark's details were completely washed away, from her house, her phone, anything she had ever saved of him.
Jungkook was trying to get rid of Jaowon, trying to kill him somehow. Jungkook loved Sohrin with all his heart.
He soon started sensing Jaowon's feelings, they resided in the same body after all. Jungkook understood that Jaowon was starting to fall for Sohrin.
How couldn't he? Sohrin was just like his wife before she fell into the hands of drugs. Sohrin was kind-hearted and loving, something he couldn't help but get attracted to.
Which explains the change in character after spending a year with her. Jaowon had stopped killing by then.
The night when they made love, Sohrin was pregnant after it. Although she was not aware at all.
Love made Jaowon weak, Jungkook was easily able to find out about it. He took his chance and left the place, only to meet Sohrin once again.
Sohrin was once again in the hands of the old woman. By this time the woman was disappointed at how Sohrin just couldn't see through Jungkook.
She finished her work at last, although it was the worst pain Sohrin had ever felt before. When Sohrin woke up in the hospital she was well aware of everything.
Now she knew about Jungkook, Jaowon, what they were to each other and mainly the secret which Mark was dreadful to reveal to her.
It was how to get rid of him.
Jaowon couldn't be killed until he lost his flesh. Remember that it was only Jaowon's spirit that had completely ruled over Jungkook.
To kill Jaowon, Jungkook needed to die. If the mortal body is dead, only then the spiritual body dies.
To get rid of Jaowon and send him back to hell, she had to kill Jungkook, that only when Jaowon had taken over him.
Sohrin could only kill Jaowon when he was still possessing Jungkook.
She was devastated because that meant of her to kill the man she truly loved.
Yet she did it, she killed him. After that nothing could go wrong. His spiritual body couldn't do anything without a mortal.
Although Jaowon always watched over her, along with the old woman during Sohrin's pregnancy and maternity.
She gave birth to her son, who had many features of her lover.
She wasn't happy, but she wasn't sad either.
She chose to do the right thing, even if it meant losing her most beloved.
