Sohrin
I didn't really know where I was. It was all black. I tried moving my limbs but nothing worked.
It was as if someone had chained my entire body into a concrete wall. I wanted to scream and cry but no sound reached out of my mouth.
I felt something dripping on my head. I would have been calm if it was just water.
It was warm blood dripping at the top of my head.
I looked towards me trying to see anything, even the slightest of light but it's nearly impossible.I felt like I was dreaming but I was sure that I could hear someone walking towards me. The sound of their footsteps along with the fresh smell of blood nearing me every second.
Slowly the footsteps stopped and by the sense of it I knew that the person was right in front of me. Whoever it was, they reeked from the smell of blood. All of a sudden it grabbed a hold of my neck and I screamed as loud as I could.I closed my eyes and screamed out anything I could at the moment. When I opened my eyes again Mark was in front of me with a bottle of water in his hand.
It looked as if he was trying to help me regain from my weak form.
I looked around to see that we were in the same house.I could believe what was going on anymore. Whether what I saw was dream or something illusional. I felt my lips quivering from how terrified I was.
I cursed whoever it was that had signed us to this documentary.
Mark looked at me worried."Are you okay Rin-ah? "
"Mark, I think we should go now, don't you think?
I mean it's getting late." I said hoping that he would agree."Not until you tell me what's wrong!" The way he said it I knew he was stern.
" Please, I don't feel good." I retorted.
"Hmm, let's go then." He said and then gave me a warm smile to help me feel better.
We took all the things we could find and kept it in our bags, and soon we made our way towards the exit.
Mark held my hand while we were walking and that made me smile to see how much he cares.
We soon got into the car and Mark was driving me back home.
It was dark already and the trees that shadowed the roads just made it worse. It was silent until a stray dog was walking in front of the car. Mark was a bit sleepy so his eyelids were almost shut because of which he didn't see the dog.
"Mark!" I shouted to him bringing him back to his senses and he applied the sudden break causing a jerk to both of our bodies.
"You okay?" Mark asked me as he stopped the car.
"Yeah!" I reassured him. While the car was stopped all of a sudden a reeking smell of fresh blood made its way to our nostrils.
I scrunched my nose and looked at Mark to see that he was doing the same. We got out of the car and the smell just got two times stronger. We followed the smell as it was leading us towards a tree. I went behind the tree covering my nose but soon screamed out of fear.Mark followed my gaze and his eyes only remaining astonished.
In front of us lied the body of a young boy, probably of our age.
He looked weak and his lips shivering.
He muttered a small 'help' but we could hear him. I looked towards Mark and he took out his phone.
He called for an ambulance and said that it was an emergency. While he did so, I crouched down to see the wounded boy.I place two if my fingers on his wrist and then to the side of his neck.
A huge weight fell off my shoulders when I realised that he was still alive and breathing slightly.
In the next two minutes the ambulance arrived. They took him in and asked us to go along with them for some casualties.I still couldn't process everything into my head.
While I was checking his pulse he kept chanting,
"Help me, he'll kill me!" over and over again like it were the only words he knew. Before I could ask anything the ambulance had already arrived.I tried thinking and felt that maybe he was talking about the person who brought him into that condition.
Maybe someone had beaten the heck out of him and left him there to die.I don't know why but I felt a strong desire to ask him about what he really meant.
To be continued..
