Emily was on a train. She have been there for a while. Aaron and Jack are out of town, at a family cabin. Aaron wanted Emily to go with him, but she insisted that Aaron needed some quality time with his son. Emily sighed as she felt tired. She could barely stay awake. She hasn't been getting much sleep because of the Doyle situation. She put her head down and closed her eyes, and everything went black.
Emily woke up and saw Clyde walking towards her. He sat down across from her and then Tsia walked over and sat next to her. "How long have you been here?" Emily asked. "About three stops ago." Clyde replied. "When was the last time you actually slept?" Tsia asked and Emily sighed as she shook her head. "I don't know." Emily replied. "You have to rest." Tsia commented. "I'll rest after we put Doyle back where he belongs." Emily told her. "Emily's right, but so is Tsia. We can't properly rest until Doyle's gone, but we also have to get sleep to be refreshed." Clyde told them. "It's harder then it looks." Emily commented. "What are we going to do?" Tsia asked. "I'm not sure yet." Clyde replied. "You're always sure." Tsia told him and he nodded. "I know." Clyde agreed. "We have to stop him before it's too late." Emily told them. "But how?" Tsia asked. "We'll figure it out. We did last time." Emily replied. "Last time was different. He didn't know us and he didn't want us dead." Clyde commented. "And now he's a step above us, when last time he was a step behind us." Tsia commented. "But we have to stop him. We just have to." Emily told them. "I know we do. Before it gets out of hand." Clyde agreed. "But it already has. He killed Jeremy. My fiance. I loved him, and Doyle murdered me, and I'm next." Tsia told him. "Tsia's right. We have to stop him now." Emily agreed. "What do you suppose we do?" Clyde asked abd Emily sighed. "I have an idea." Emily replied.
Emily's phone started ringing. Emily answered her boyfriends call. "Hey." Emily greeted. "I'm home. Where are you?" Aaron asked. "I thought you weren't coming back until tomorrow morning?" Emily asked. "It's suppose to rain all day tomorrow, so we came back early." Aaron replied and Emily nodded. "Oh." Emily commented. "Where are you? Are you alright?" Aaron asked. "Yeah. I took a walk and I went further then I meant to. I'm taking the train back." Emily replied. "Okay, I'll see you soon. I love you." Aaron told her and Emily gave a small smile. "I love you too." Emily agreed and hung up with a sigh. "He doesn't know?" Clyde asked and Emily shook her head. "It's for the best." Emily replied.
Aaron was in his office when there was a knock. "Come in!" Aaron called. David walked in as Aaron looked up. "Hotch." David greeted. "What's wrong?" Aaron asked. "I was about to ask you the same thing." David replied. "Why?" Aaron asked. "Because something just seems off." David replied and Aaron sighed. "I'm not sure." Aaron told him. "What do you mean?" David asked as he sat down. "Something's off with Emily. I don't know what it is." Aaron replied. "I'm sure it's fine. You're probably just over exaggerating or something." David suggested and Aaron sighed. "Maybe." Aaron agreed. "Have you asked her about it?" David asked and Aaron shook his head. "No. I don't know what to say." Aaron replied. "Just be straight forward with her. Be honest, like she is." David told him and he nodded. "You're right." Aaron agreed.
The day was over and everyone was getting ready to leave. Aaron walked over to his girlfriend. "Ready to go?" Aaron asked. "Yeah." Emily replied. She packed up her things and got up. Everyone started clearing out and the couple got into their car. Aaron didn't start driving and Emily looked at him. "Is everything alright?" Emily asked and he sighed. "Yeah. I guess." Aaron replied. What does that mean?" Emily asked. "It means that I'm worried about you." Aaron replied and Emily pushed her eyebrows together. "Why?" Emily asked. "You've been acting really weird and secretive lately." Aaron replied and Emily remained calm. "I haven't." Emily insisted. "Em." Aaron commented and she sighed. "It's.... My mom." Emily told him. "What about her?" Aaron asked. "The fact that we're not on good terms." Emily replied. "But you're never on good terms." Aaron commented and Emily nodded. "True, but we're even worse now." Emily told him and he sighed. "Right." Aaron agreed. "It's nothing. My mom and I are always like this, it'll work itself out." Emily told him and he nodded as he put on a fake smile. "Good. I just want you to be okay." Aaron told her and she smiled. "I know, and I love you for that." Emily told him and he smiled. "I love you too." Aaron agreed and they kissed. Then Aaron started the car and they left.
Aaron was asleep in the bed. Emily was laying in the bed, but she was wide awake. She sighed as she turned over and faced him. She can't tell him, she knows that. She just wants to protect him and Jack and the rest of her team. But she's never been a hopeful person, and pretending to be hopeful has taken every bit of hee strength. She doesn't know what to do now. She sat up and walked into the restroom. She started texting the unknown number and told him that she'll meet him. She sighed as she put her head in her hands. She washed her face in the sink and then dried off. She walked back out and looked at Aaron. She gave him a kiss on the lips and then went into Jack's room and gave him a kiss on the forehead. She grabbed her coat and walked out of the house.
Emily was sitting at a table outside as she had a cup of coffee. She's been sitting there for a while. She doesn't know if she should be happy or scared that he isn't there yet. She doesn't know how to feel, about anything anymore. She sighed as she looked down. She looked back up with a look of horror when she felt a cold, make hand on her back. Then someone walked into her view point and she couldn't believe that she was actually looking at Ian Doyle. "Hello, Lauren. Or is it Emily now?" Doyle asked and Emily glared at him.
