Chapter 46: Social Services Part 2!

     Emily's phone was ringing, but she ignored it because of the man standing in her doorway. "Are you going to invite me in?" Sebastian asked and Emily gave a nervous laugh. "Right, of course." Emily replied. He walked in as she closed the door behind her. Her phone rang again, but she was too focused on the man that can take Declan away. "Are you going to get that?" Sebastian asked and Emily shook her head. "It can wait, I'm sure it's not too important." Emily replied and the man nodded. "Declan Doyle. Nice to see you again." Sebastian greeted and he nodded. "You too." Declan agreed nervously. "So, I'll ask you a few questions and inspect the house. Then I'll take Declan with me, for the night, until I decide if this place, and you, is a good place for this boy." Sebastian told her and she nodded with a sigh. "Okay." Emily agreed.
      Spencer was pacing in the waiting room of the hospital. Everyone was there, including Jack, but Emily wasn't. "I still can't get a hold of Emily." Aaron told them with a sigh. "That's not like her." Penelope commented. "I'm sure she's fine." David reassured and Aaron shrugged. "I don't know, I just have a bad feeling." Aaron commented as he sat down in between Jack and David. JJ sighed and walked up to Spencer. She took his arms to stop him from pacing. "Hey, Spence. It's going to be okay, Maeve has been through worse then this." JJ told him. "Like what?" Spencer asked. "Like the fact that she was kidnapped by a crazy stacker and watched her ex boyfriend die before her eyes and almost died as well as the stalker killed herself. She can get through this, things like this happen during a pregnancy. Trust me, I know, I've been pregnant a few times. She will be fine." JJ explained and Spencer nodded. "Thanks, JJ." Spencer commented and JJ smiled and they hugged.
     "How many people are in this household?" "Me, my fiance, and his son." Emily replied and Sebastian nodded as he wrote it down. "How many bedrooms?" Sebastian asked. "3." Emily replied. "You and your fiance are both FBI Profilers, is that right?" Sebastian asked. "Yes." Emily replied. "Who will take care of Declan when you both are gone for so long at a time?" Sebastian asked. "Aaron's dead ex wives sister, Jessica, comes over to babysit Jack and she'll be more then willing to babysit Declan as well." Emily replied and he nodded. "Do you think you leaving all the time is the right thing for Declan?" Sebastian asked. "He understands. He love what I do." Emily replied. "And you are sure of that?" Sebastian asked. "Yes. Because of what I did, he's alive and the people that kept going after him is gone for good. He told me that he wants me to keep doing this, so I can save more people like him and stop more people like his parents." Emily replied and Sebastian turned to the boy. "Is this true?" Sebastian asked and he nodded. "Yes." Declan replied. Sebastian nodded as he turned back to Emily. "That's all the questions I have right now. Give me a tour of the house." Sebastian told her and she nodded. "Right this way." Emily agreed as they walked off. Declan sighed as he sat back down.
     The doctor walked over to the team. "Maeve!" Mrs. Stone called. "Over here." Spencer told her as he walked up to her with the team behind him. "She's awake and okay." Mrs. Stone told him and he sighed in relief. "Then what happened? Why did she just faint like that?" Spencer asked. "This often happens during pregnancy's." Mrs. Stone replied. "Told you." JJ commented as she slightly nudged him. "We will keep her overnight to do some more tests on her and the babies." Mrs. Stone told him and he nodded. "As long as she's okay." Spencer commented. "She is. You can go see her now, but just you." Mrs. Stone told him and he nodded as he walked in there. "Maeve?" Spencer asked. "I'm here." Maeve replied and Spencer smiled as her as he took her hand.
      Emily finished showing him the house and they stood at the top of the stairs. "I have everything I need, but the adoption process is long." Sebastian told her. "It'll be worth it." Emily told him. "To keep him in your care before the adoption is done, you must have a foster license." Sebastian told her and she nodded. "I'll get one then." Emily told him. "He can't stay with you until you have that." Sebastian informed her. "Then I'll get one as soon as I can." Emily told him and he nodded. "Your questions were fine and your house is great for a kid. So come too my office after you get the license, with proof, and we'll start filling out paperwork." Sebastian told her and she smiled. "Okay." Emily agreed. They shook hands and walked down the stairs. Declan stood up and faced them. "Come on, Declan." Sebastian told him and he sighed as he put his head down. Emily walked over to him and hugged him. "I will get you back. Trust me on that." Emily told him and he nodded. "I do." Declan agreed. Sebastian took Declan out as Emily sighed.
       "How are you feeling?" Spencer asked. "Sore, probably from passing out and hitting the floor. But I'm okay." Maeve replied with a small smile and Spencer smiled back at her. "I was worried." Spencer told her. "I know, I was too. But I'm fine, the babies are fine, and we are all going to be a fine happy family." Maeve replied and Spencer laughed. "I love you." Spencer told her. "I love you too." Maeve agreed. "I can stay here with you." Spencer told her. "That's sweet, but I'll be fine by myself for a night. Go home and get some rest, and then come here first thing in the morning." Maeve told him and he nodded. "I will." Spencer agreed. He stood up and kissed her forehead before walking out.
     The team walked up to her. "How is she?" Derek asked. "She's good, really good." Spencer replied. "That's good." Penelope commented as she sighed in relief. Spencer walked up to Aaron as everyone sat down. "Hey, you okay?" Spencer asked. "Why are you asking me when your girlfriend is the one in the hospital?" Aaron asked. "Because I can tell how worried you are about Emily." Spencer replied and Aaron sighed. "Oh." Aaron commented. "Go to her." Spencer told him. "You sure?" Aaron asked. "Yes." Spencer replied. "But Maeve." Aaron commented. "She's okay, and the team is going to leave soon anyway. Look, Hotch. You need to take care of your girl, just like I need to take care of mine." Spencer told him and he smiled. "Thank you." Aaron commented. "Of course." Spencer commented. Then they hugged and Aaron left.
