Chapter 18: Silent Treatment Part 1!

        The team were in the round table room. "Five girls died. They were all strangled to death and were found in a ditch." Penelope told them. "Why in a ditch?" Derek asked. "It might be a metaphor." Spencer replied. "A metaphor for what?" JJ asked and Spencer didn't look at her, making her sigh. "Maybe he feels like a part of him is missing. Like there's a hole inside of him." Spencer replied. "Could be." Aaron agreed. "Where is it?" David asked. "San Francisco, California." Penelope replied. "Were they just strangled?" Emily asked. "Yeah. There are few brusies, but not cuts or scratches." Penelope replied. "Okay. Wheels up in 30." Aaron told them.
     Emily and Aaron were at the crime scene. "It's 5 feet deep." Aaron commented. "Did they choose 5 feet for a reason?" Emily asked. "Maybe." Aaron replied. "By the way the body's are in the pictures, I'm guessing they were just thrown in." Emily told him. "Which means no remorse." Aaron mentioned. "That's not good." Emily commented. Aaron bent down and examined the ditch. He pushed his eyebrows together when he saw blood. "Blood." Aaron commented and Emily bent down to join him. "What?" Emily asked. "There's traces of blood here." Aaron replied. "I thought Garcia said there weren't any cuts or scratches." Emily told him. "Exactly." Aaron told her as he locked eyes with her.
       David and Derek were at the morgue, examining the latest body. There were bruises everywhere and marks around her neck. "The only MO is how they died and where they were found. There's nothing similiar about the girls. Looks or personality." David explained. Derek heard his phone ringing and took it out. "Hey, Prentiss." Derek greeted. "Morgan, there were traces of blood in the ditch." Emily told him. "How could that be?" Derek asked and she sighed. "I don't know, but we checked the others and they were all the same." Emily replied and he nodded. "Okay. We'll keep examining and see what we find." Derek told her and she nodded. "Okay. We'll meet you at the station." Emily told him and hung up. "What was that about?" David asked. "There were traces of blood in the ditches." Derek replied as he put on gloves and a face mask as he started examining the body even more. He turned the girl all the way around, so that she laid on her stomach. He looked around and sighed as he took off the gloves and masks. "Nothing?" David asked and Derek shook his head. "No." Derek replied. Then David thought he saw something. He put on gloves and a face mask as well as he walked around and to the girls head. He started examining it and lifted his hand and saw blood on the glove. David took off his gloves and mask. "There's a puncture wound on her head." David told her. "Wait. Did the wound kill her?" Derek asked. "The reports say strangeling." David replied. "We might have to do more tests." Derek told him and David nodded.
      JJ and Spencer just left a victims house. "We got nothing from that." JJ commented. "No kidding." Spencer mumbled and JJ sighed. "Look, Spence. I know you're mad at me." JJ told him. "You don't know the half of it!" Spencer exclaimed. "Spence, please. You have to understand." JJ told him. "Well, I don't understand. I don't understand how you could let me go to your house for 6 months, crying over the loss of our friend." Spencer yelled at her and walked away. JJ sighed and sat down. She took out her phone and called her husband as tears began to fall from her eyes. "Hey, JJ." Will greeted. "Hi." JJ greeted. "Hey, what's wrong?" Will asked and JJ sighed. "Spence and I just fought again. He yelled at me for letting him cry to me. I know I did the right thing, but I do understand why he's so angry." JJ replied. "Just give him some time and space. He'll come around." Will told her and JJ nodded. "Thanks, I don't know what I would do without you. I love you." JJ told him. "I love you too." Will told her and they hung up.
     Everyone, except JJ, was back at the station. "A puncture wound?" Emily asked. "Yeah, on the back of her head." David replied. "It's a good thing you're making her get tested again." Aaron told them. "Yeah." Derek agreed. "And the house?" Aaron asked. "Nothing." Spencer replied. JJ walked in. "Where have you been?" Emily asked. She looked at Spencer as he looked away and she sighed. "I decided to look over the house again." JJ replied. "And?" Aaron asked. "Still nothing." JJ replied. Spencer walked off and Emily followed him. "Reid. We need to talk." Emily told him as she grabbed his arm and forced him to look at her. "We don't have anything to talk about." Spencer told her. He tried to walk away, but she stopped him. "I'm not JJ. She might take this, but I won't. Yes, we lied, and yes we said that I was dead. But look at me. I'm not. I'm alive and well. You can see me and touch me. I'm not going anywhere. I came back hoping that I had all the people I love back in my life, and that includes you." Emily explained. "You should have thought about that." Spencer told her and walked away as she sighed. The team saw that and sighed as well.
      Aaron walked up to Spencer. "This was all my decision. So don't get mad at Emily or at JJ. If you're going to be mad at anyone, you need to be mad at me." Aaron told him and Spencer sighed. "I can't do that. I didn't go to your house for 6 months crying over loosing a friend." Spencer told him and walked away as Aaron stood there and sighed.
      David walked up to Aaron. "The test came out. Both of them." David told him. "Both?" Aaron asked. "The one about how the girls died and the one about the marks on the girls necks." David replied and Aaron nodded. "Let's hear them." Aaron told him. "The girls did die of being strangled. The puncture wound was probably just to keep her from running." David replied and Aaron nodded. "Makes sense." Aaron agreed. "And the second test tells us the Unsub. Marcus Flex." David told his boss and Aaron nodded. "Let's get the team and get our Unsub." Aaron told him.
