Chapter 23: Pregnant!

     JJ walked downstairs in her robe to answer the door. "Em. What's wrong?" JJ asked. "I didn't have anywhere else to go, Aaron and I just fought." Emily replied. "Come in." JJ told her. "Thanks." Emily commented as she walked in and JJ closed the door behind her. "What happened?" JJ asked. "I don't think he can accept my past." Emily replied and JJ sighed. JJ sat down and motioned for Emily to sit next to her. "He can and will accept you for you and your past, he just has to wrap his head around it first." JJ told her and Emily sighed. "I don't know." Emily commented. "Well, I do. I've known him for a really long time, longer then you. But you have to give him.a chance, just like he has to give you a chance." JJ told her and Emily sighed. "Okay." Emily agreed. "Good. Now do you want to spend the night here?" JJ asked. "Yeah, I think that's best." Emily replied and JJ smiled. "Good. You can sleep on the couch." JJ told her as she stood up. "Okay." Emily agreed as she laid down and closes her eyes. JJ put a cover over her and walked upstairs.
       Will met JJ at the top of the stairs. "What was that about?" Will asked and JJ sighed. "Emily and Aaron had a fight. She's going to sleep here tonight and talk to him about it tomorrow. A night away from each other might be able to show them how much they're in love." JJ replied and Will nodded. "Okay. Are you coming to bed?" Will asked. "In a minute. I want to check on the kids." JJ replied and he nodded. "Okay." Will agreed as he walked into their bedroom. JJ walked into Henry's room and saw he was awake. "Why are you still up?" JJ asked. "I can't sleep." Henry replied and JJ sighed as she sat on the edge of his bed. "Are you okay?" JJ asked. "Not really." Henry replied. "What's wrong, sweetie?" JJ asked. "I don't feel good." Henry replied and JJ sighed as she out her hand to his forehead. "You're burning up. Just get some sleep and you might feel better in the morning." JJ suggested and Heney nodded. Henry laid down and JJ kissed his head. She walked out and into the nursery. She smiled at her son and walked out and into her room. She got in bed and smiled to herself when she felt Will's hand wrap around her waist and pulled her close.
      Maeve woke up to the bed moving. She looked up and saw Spencer was getting dressed. "What's going on?" Maeve asked as she sat up. "I got a call from Hotch." Spencer replied and Maeve sighed. "A case?" Maeve asked. "Yeah." Spencer replied. "But it's passed midnight." Maeve commented. "That happens sometimes." Spencer replied. "But what about our dinner plans?" Maeve asked and Spencer shrugged. "I guess we'll have to reschedule it." Spencer replied and Maeve sighed. "I guess." Maeve agreed. "Are you alright?" Spencer asked. "Yeah. I just haven't been feeling well, and I wanted to have dinner with you." Maeve replied and Spencer leaned closer to her. "I know. When I get back, I promise." Spencer told her. "Be careful." Maeve told him and he smiled. "I will." Maeve agreed. They kissed and Spencer left.
      Everyone met in the round table room. Aaron sat several seats away from Emily. They started at each other for a moment and then looked away. They all could feel the tension in the room, but didn't say anything. "Five women, all blonde, disappeared behind the local diner. It's in a small town, so everyone knows everyone." Penelope informed them. "What are the connections? Besides them being blonde?" Asron asked. "They all go to the same dinner during their lunch break at work." Penelope replied. "Do they work at the same place?" Derek asked. "That, they do not." Penelope replied. "Okay. Wheels in 5." Aaron told them.
      Everyone left the round the room, except JJ. She got a call on her phone from Will, and answered it. "Hey." JJ greeted. "Henry's running a fever." Will told her. "What? Is he okay?" JJ asked. "He's fine. He's asleep now." Will replies and she sighed. "How bad is the fevor?" JJ asked. "Not too bad, but he's not going to school." Will replied and JJ nodded with tears in her eyes. "Good." JJ commented. "He'll be okay, it's just a fever." Will reassured. "I know." JJ agreed. "When will you be back?" Will asked and JJ sighed. "I don't know, but I'll be back as soon as I can." JJ replied. "Okay. I love you." Will told her. "I love you too, I'll see you soon." JJ agreed and hung up. Aaron walked in and JJ wiped her tears. "Are you okay?" Aaron asked and she sighed. "Yeah, Henry's just sick." JJ replied. "Is he okay?" Aaron asked. "Yeah, he'll be fine. He's been sick before, but I'm a mother. Mothers worry about their kids." JJ replied. "Fathers too." Asron added and JJ nodded. "Yeah. A parents job is never over." JJ agreed. "Do you want to stay with Henry?" Will agreed and JJ wiped her tears. "No, I can't stay every time my child gets a cold. I'll be fine." JJ replied and Aaron nodded. "Okay, if you're sure." Aaron told her. "I am." JJ agreed. Aaron was about to leave, but stopped. "Did Emily go to your house?" Aaron asked. "Yes." JJ replied. "What did she say?" Aaron asked and JJ sighed. "You need to talk to her about that." JJ replied and Aaron nodded. "Of course." Aaron agreed. JJ walked out as Aaron sighed and followed her out of the room.
      The team were all asleep in their hotel rooms. They had already gotten to their destination and started their case. They have to hotel rooms, one for girls and one for boys. Spencer woke up to his phone ringing. He walked out of the room and answered his girlfriends call. "Hi." Spencer greeted. "Hey, Spence." Maeve greeted. "Is everything alright?" Spencer asked and Maeve signed. "Not particularly." Maeve replied. "What's wrong?" Spencer asked. "I wanted to tell you in person, but I can't sleep and I don't think I can wait any longer." Maeve replied. "Maeve, you can tell me anything." Spencer told her. "I'm pregnant." Maeve told him and hid eyes widened.
