Chapter 16: She's Back!

      The team couldn't believe at who they were looking at. Emily Prentiss. Their friend that they thought was dead for seven whole months. The friend they burried. The friend the grieved for. The friend that is standing right in front of them, and the team didn't know if this was real yet. Penelope was the first to get up and hug her. Spencer was next, and then David. "I am so sorry. Not a day went by that I didn't think of you. Really." Emily told them as she went up to Derek and hugged him too. He couldn't believe that he could hug her again, he didn't think he'll ever even see her again. Emily hugged JJ next and then Aaron as he kissed her for head. "I'm glad you're back." Aaron told her and she smiled. "Me too. There is so much I want to tell you guys, but first you have to tell me about Doyle." Emily told them. "Declan is missing and the women that was taking carw of him is dead." David told her and she sighed. "That's too bad, Louise Thatcher was a nice lady." Emily commented. "He doesn't think Jeracy has the guts to take him on." Penelope added. "I know Jeracy, and Doyle's right. But he might if he was working for someone." Emily told them. "What about Declan's mom?" Spencer asked. "Doyle has always told me that she was dead." Emily replied. "How many people know that Declan is Doyle's son?" Aaron asked and Emily thought about it. "Just me, Doyle, and Louise. As far as I know." Emily replied. "Why didn't anyone know?" Derek asked. "Because with all his faults, he did love Declan, and he knew Declan would have a rough time with a father like him." Emily replied. "Was Declan the only person Doyle loved?" Aaron asked and she sighed. "I don't know." Emily replied and he nodded.
     Penelope was in her office. Emily and JJ walked in and Penelope smiled at her as Emily smiled back. "I was thinking, Garcia. Doyle probably lied about Declan's mom." Emily told her and she nodded. "That's a good thought." Penelope agreed. "Do you think you can run a list of all the women Doyle had relations with?" Emily asked and Penelope nodded. "Anything for you, visitor Prentiss." Penelope replied as she started typing and Emily laughed as her and JJ walked out.
    Emily and JJ were walking down the hallway. "How was London?" JJ asked. "Good. It felt weird to be there again." Emily replied and JJ laughed. "I've really missed you." JJ told her with a smile and Emily smiled too. "I've missed you too." Emily agreed. "This has been so hard on the time. Hotch and I knew you were alive." JJ told her and she nodded. "I hope they're not mad at me." Emily commented. "If they are, they're probably mad at me and Hotch as well." JJ told her. "Comforting." Emily commented sarcastically and they both laughed. "It's good to have you back." JJ told her. "It's good to be back." Emily agreed.
     Emily walked into Aaron's office and smiled. "Hey." Emily greeted. "Hi." Aaron greeted. "How are you doing?" Emily asked. "Good, better now that you're here." Aaron replied and Emily laughed. "And Jack?" Emily asked. "He misses you." Aaron replied and Emily nodded. "I miss him too." Emily agreed. "I actually have a birthday presnt for you." Aaron told her as she pulled out a small black box. "You should know that I hate my birthday." Emily told him and he nodded. "I know, but I thought you deserved it." Aaron told her and she smiled as he handed it to her. She opened it and gasped. "It's beautiful!" Emily exclaimed as she held it up and put the box down. "I'm glad you like it." Aaron told her. He grabbed the necklace and went behind her as he put it on. She looked down at it and then turned around to face her boyfriend. "I love it, and I love you." Emily told him. She kissed him passionately on the lips and then they hugged. "I love you too." Aaron told her.
      Emily walked back into Penelope's office. "I got your text." Emily told her and Penelope nodded. "I have the list." Penelope told her. "Good." Emily commented. "Doyle had a relationship with all of these women?" Penelope asked as she scrolled down to look at all of them. "Yeah, that's Doyle for you." Emily replied. Penelope started printing them as Emily sighed and looked at them.
     Emily took a deep breathe and walked into the interrogation room that Doyle was in. He looked up as she closed the door, and he was shocked to see her. He remember stabbing her, but she survived. "Of course." Doyle commented with a smirk and Emily sighed. "You told me that Declan's mom was dead." Emily told him and he nodded. "I did say that." Doyle agreed. "Was it a lie?" Emily asked and he sighed. "It was." Doyle replied. Emily put the papers in front of him. "Which one is Declan's mom?" Emily asked. He pointed the picture and Emily nodded. She picked up the papers and left the room.
      The jet landed and everyone got out. They saw the other jet that held the two criminals and the young boy. "It's the FBI! Come out with your hands up." Derek yelled through a speaker. Emily stepped closer and Aaron watched her carefully. They heard a gunshot and they all got their guns ready. Then Chloe walked out with Declan in front of her and a gun to his head. They knew that the gunshot must have been Chloe shooting Jeracy. David grabbed Doyle from the car handed him over to Emily. She put her gun back in her belt and walked a little closer as she held onto Doyle. "Are you Emily Prentiss?" Chloe asked. "We never met. So, how do you know my name?" Emily asked. "It was on Declan and his caretaker's emergency contact list." Chole replied. "That's me." Emily told her. "Give me Doyle, and I won't harm the boy." Chloe warned. Emily handed Doyle to her and she threw Declan as Emily caught him. They looked up and saw Chloe shoot Doyle as Emily sheilded Declan. She pointed her gun at Emily and Declan and Aaron quickly shot her in thr head. Emily and Declan watched Doyle as he was dying. "I love you, my son." Doyle told him as he reached out his hand. Declan reached out and took it. "I remember you." Declan told him. Emily looked at Doyle, who wasn't moving, and knew he was dead now, and she sighed.
      The team sat at the long table as they looked at their bosses. "I am still convinced that you are a rogue team. I will like to speak to Emily Prentiss alone." The head guy told them. Everyone, except Aaron, immediately left. They looked at each other and Emily nodded, prompting Aaron to get up and leave. "The only people I know that can accomplish that mission, just walked out. They do their jobs with integrity, and most importantly they honor their oath. I will support and defend the constitution of the United States of America against all enemies. Foreign and domestic. I will bare true faith and alligance to the same. That I take this obligation freely. Without any mental reservation or perhaps of invasion. That I will well and faithfully discharge the duties and which I'm about to enter. So help me god." Emily explained.
      The team was in the round table room when Erin Strauss walked in. "The council thought you were a rougue team. Emily Prentiss convinced them that you were not that." Strauss told them. "So, what now?" Spencer asked. "Emily can have her position back, if she wishes." Strauas replied. "May I think about it?" Emily asked and Strauss nodded. "Of course." Strauss replied. There was a moment of silence and Emily smiled. "I'm in." Emily told her. "There'll be a lot of paperwork tomorrow." Strauss told them and walked out. "Emily, what did you say to them?" Derek asked. "It's not important." Emily replied and they went into a group hug.
