Second Chances (2nd book of Contest Winner)

Chapter Fourty-Five

We walked down the street pretty close together but not touching. I felt his hand brush mine a few times sending chills down my spine but I held my ground.

Once we got to fantasyland I couldnt decide what I wanted to do first. We ended up doing the Peter Pan ride first and it was absolutely amazing. Then we did Its a small world Just to get it over with. Then we walked down to the Haunted Mansion.

After that we ate lunch then rode Pirates of the Carribean, Pooh bear, Buzz lightyear, Stitch, Jungle Cruise, Speedway, Under The Sea (which I sang the whole time in by the way), Mickeys PhilharMagic, and The Barnstormer. We also had to take a few pictures and sign a few autographs through out the day.

"I sort of want to go ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad." I said.

"Since when do you like rollercoasters?" He asked.

"Naomi said it was not bad." I replied.

"I dont know Char." He said.

"Please. Come on I dont want to ride it alone." I whined.

"You know I dont like rollercoasters, besides I thought you still hated me." He said.

"I love you Harry." I said. "Im just upset with you right now. Now come on." I said and made my way to the coaster.

The line wasnt very long so we basically got straight on the ride. "Well if you are going to make me ride this then im making you hold my hand the whole time." He said and then grabbed my hand before I could move it. We were in the very back which means we will go the fastest.

The ride started and Harrys grip tightened on my hand. I smiled and then intertwined our fingers. He looked at me as if he was shocked then smiled and looked back in front of him.

The ride ended and I only screamed twice. Harry on the other hand screamed basically the whole time.

"Are you okay?" I laughed as we exited the ride.

"Yeah im fine." He replied and cleared his throat.

"You screamed basically the whole time." I laughed.

"Are you actually laughing?" He asked and I immediately stopped.

"No." I denied. "I mean I was laughing at you is all."

"Sure babe."

The rest of the day went on until the it was almost time for the light show and fireworks. Harry wanted to make sure we got the best spot, so before I could register he grabbed my hand and drug me through the crowd of people.

We stopped in the circle right in front of the castle. Not too long after that the light show started and it was absolutely beautiful.

When the fireworks started though I could feel someone watching me. I looked up to see Harry looking at me. I could see the light of the fireworks in his eyes giving them a slight sparkle.

He licked his lips and my heart started fluttering. He glanced down at my lips before returning his gaze to me. I knew I needed to look away but I didnt want to.

He started to slowly lean down to kiss me. I think we were both waiting for me to pull away but it was like I was frozen.

He was close now. I could feel his hot breath on my face. His lips were just milimeters away from my own.

As soon as he brushed my mouth though the fanally went off from the fireworks and I jumped back like 5 feet in the air.

He started laughing and then wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "Dont be so nervous love." He chuckled.
