The Last Hurdle

Recap:Mehendi day- Lakshmi asking ornaments back from Shalini - Veer scolding his wife- Jwala Ved moments.

Next morning everyone woke up with a shocking news that Shalini is missing. Instead of getting busy in tomorrow's marriage preparations, they started searching for Shalini everywhere in the house. Veer was on half mind to find his wife. He knows that she is angry with him for yesterday's fight. But more than her, it's him angry with her now. Tomorrow is his brother's marriage and she left him at one of the most important occasion of his life.

He sat on sofa taking a look on newspaper while others are busy in tensing and making calls to his wife. But none of the call is attended. Even her parents too didn't respond. Jwala and Ved also ran towards the hall hearing the news and became shocked seeing Veer sitting on sofa reading newspaper.

"What are you doing Veer? Everyone is thinking about your wife and you are behaving like you don't want her back."Prakash scolded him.

He folded the newspaper and threw it back on the table before standing up infront of his father.

"Dad..we haven't forced her to go from here or threw her out. She left according to her wish. Let her come back when she wants us back. We don't need to tense. Let's continue the marriage preparations."Veer said making everyone confused.

"Stop this Veer... Don't be so rude.. what if she think of doing something wrong.."Prakash said loudly.

Veer laughed in loud voice.
"She is my wife..I know her better. She is doing all this to spoil this marriage and to make us beg infront of her. I am not going to fall in her trap this time..let her repent for her actions. I won't call her back..."Veer announced.

Jwala and Vedanth looked at each other without knowing how to make their brother understand.

"Veer...she is my daughter in law. I want her back in this house. This is not a battle field for fighting and taking revenge .. May be she is wrong...but it's us who should make her understand with our patience and love..."Lakshmi said.

"How many times mom? How many times I tried to convince her? Do you all think that I am not loving her? I did..I loved her a lot..but she didn't understand my love..she was always behind something that are not reachable..she is living in an imaginary world. She couldn't understand my love and care because of her selfishness."Veer said making every mouth to shut up.

Veer was in a shattered state and no one could console him. They all knew that he is speaking truth. It was then Jwala moved to him.

"Bhai..we all know that you are loving her a lot. But the problem is she couldn't understand it. May be she is regretting now..."Jwala said.

"Regret and my wife have no connection Jwala..she may be now regretting about choosing me as her husband.."Veer said in an helplessness tone.

"Dont say that bhaiyya...She will come back when she can understand your love..."Ved said.

"Did you fight with her Veer bhaiyya?" It was Jwala who asked.

Veer didn't respond.
"She is loving you a lot. That's why she can't handle when you scold her."Jwala said and Veer gave her a look.
