Dark Angel

A/N- Wow, this song is amazing!
I was watching gameplay from Nicob and he pointed out this song was played in Xenoblade Chronicles once in the entire game and this song was probably one of the best songs that you ever come across and I cannot agree more! It's amazing!

I saw the horrible sight. Everything, everyone, everywhere. What got me the most was Fang's partially disassembled body in front of me. I felt my heartbeat pound in my head and the anger flowed.
"YOU!!" I roared running as fast as I could towards the thing. I caught its attention and when I did I stabbed the blob and pulled it up and slammed it down against the ground then continually stabbed it until it burned into ash. I rushed to Fang's body and cannot believe this happened to him. I then felt his pulse and quickly ran back to the scion.

It was a pain to carry his bleeding body and also hard without wings. I tried not to trip down the stairs and also tried my best go as fast as I could.
"SCION! PLEASE! HELP!" I cried. I set Fang's body on the floor and the scion did what it could bringing light from her palm to heal his wounds.
"His body. You cannot return his limbs?" I asked.
"This is. . . unfortunately the best I can do," she apologized.
I gritted my teeth and punched wall and silver blood dripped from my knuckles.
"I'll make them pay. . . I WILL!" I said to myself.
"My power will take longer to return now. But when it does come back, I will help you," the scion said.
"I look forward to it," I said trying to hold in my anger.
"Please stay safe," she said.
"No promises," I said running up the stairs.

When I got up the stairs there were so many of them fighting near the entrance. They all stopped slowly and looked at me, they saw the silver blood from my fist.
"He's. . . a dark. . . angel. . ." a deformed angel moaned. They all readied themselves and I looked up to them with hatred.
"Come at me then. I'll kill you all."

There were more bullets wizzing by me. I tried to fly unpredictably and became more alert around myself. I don't know what happened to these angels and shadows, but I have a theory. I shelved the thought in my mind. I got shot in the back and lost control. I skid against the hot ground and struggled to get up. An explosion blew up from behind me and noticed that Caliber's tank was protecting me. As I got up the tank was hit by a barrel of powder. The tank didn't explode, but it looked badly damaged. I ran from the enemies crowding towards me and flew upwards. I threw my scythe at the angels who were dropping barrels on the tank. The others who were in the tank withdrew and I continued to hold them off. As I continued fighting Valkyries started to appear. I don't know if I can keep going, and there's no way I can defeat so many Valkyries. They flew towards me at great speed. I blocked a hit but the knockback sent me flying. Another Valkyrie flew right up to me and swung a great axe at me. I blocked again but I was again knocked back downward and hit the earth.
"Guardian," I said, "I don't know if I can do this."
"I can't really possess you. You don't have the energy, nor can you use the dark crystal."
I stood up weakly as the Valkyries surrounded me. I heard running and so I kept my head high. The Valkyries attacked me in no pattern. I tried to avoid and block what I could, I was still stabbed and hit in certain places. They were practically mincing me.
"RADE!!" I heard Void's scream. With the energy I had left I threw the dark crystal in the direction I heard.

I caught the crystal and continued to run. Even though there were about ten Valkyries I still ran. One Valkyrie noticed me and must've wanted me dead first because I still had the energy to fight. The Valkyrie was fast, but I felt as if time has slowed and I could see what action to take at the last second. I rolled towards the Valkyrie where she swung and caught her off guard. Their weapons are large, so it must be used at a certain distance, but if I get close, they cannot defend. I grabbed my spear as I rolled and stabbed the Valkyrie when I got up. Light flashed and one Valkyrie was gone. The other Valkyries had their full attention on me now. Good.
They weren't playing anymore and so they all charged forward. I jumped forward and melted into a shadow. I popped out behind them and stabbed another.
"You remembered how to faze into a shadow again."
"I couldn't do it before because we needed to use it as a vessel for you. Now, I can." It's tiring though, I can't keep using it.

Some rose upward while a handful flew towards me. I ran forward as well. When I was nearing them, I stopped and a Valkyrie crashed down where I would have been if I didn't stop and I stabbed the creature, ending it. They like tricks, well, I can play their game.
The other Valkyries didn't seem fazed as they all continued to attack now. No charging, no flying, just combat. I had a hard time avoiding their attacks. It's next to impossible to avoid everything unscathed. I fazed into a shadow and popped up from under the Valkyrie hoping to get a hit, but they flew knowing my trick. I can't fly and so I was at a disadvantage.
The Valkyries looked up and then at one another and they flew off. Was it an order? I had no time to think about it. I grabbed Rade who was unconscious and carried him back.
I wish I could've been out here to help them sooner.
