Ezra and rex were riding in a Humvee on there way towards the airbase the ezra was manning the 50 caliber Machine gun he looked up to see the darken and cloudy sky light up with explosions knowing that the allied force were fighting against the empire above the planet
" Alright men where closing in on the airfield" the commander of easy company said through the comms " Once where there apaches are going to provide close air support " The commander of Easy company said to them through the comms as they continued there approach
As they made there advance A10s flew over them and fired there payloads towards the airfield the explosions could heard as they made there advance
Forty minutes later
" INCOMING !" A soldier yelled as imperial tie bomber bombed the position. Easy company had arrived at the airfield not long ago but the enemy resistance was stronger the they had though before
" Sir!" a soldier shouted to the commanding officer C Company has been ordered to reinforce ETA Twelve minutes !" the soldier shouted to his commanding officer " You tell C company to get there A** here on the double right now!" the commanding officer ordered the soldier he then pulls out his side arm an M9 Beretta and fires at two stormtroopers who where about to fire
M1 Abrams where firing at imperial AT-ATs the walkers had a high advantage but Earths tanks where more maneuverable and had a speed that the walkers didn't have even with there advancement in weaponry the imperial walkers hand not defense against the projectile rounds that the tanks would fire as the armored divisions exchanged fire
Meanwhile on earth Tristan was with Maria where lying down on a bed in a hotel room that wasn't far from the war department the two where cuddling up next to each other
Maria notice that Tristan was thinking but she got him out of it when she said "Savannah" she said to him " what?" he asked her " If are baby is a girl I want to name her Savannah" Maria said to Tristan " Savannah Wren" Tristan said he thought about and it did have a nice ring to it " Okay if it's a girl her name is Savannah but what if it's a boy ?" Tristan asked her but saw that she had fallen asleep he smiles and plants a small kiss in her head and falls asleep as well
"Incoming!" a soldier shouted as a tie fighter fired a proton torpedo at a Humvee destroying the imperial and Umbaran forces where fighting as hard as they could to keep the allies at bay
Ezra was with a small squad of soldiers who where taking heavy fire he took cover behind a Tree that was near the air base He fired his rifle he fired until the magazine was empty he went to reload but realized that he was out of ammo
He grabs his sidearm and fires at the enemy forces he fires his pistol until the magazine runs out Ezra's starting to panic as he looks from right to left to see Us soldiers either firing there weapons or trying to fall back while being shot in the back 'ezra' he heard Revan said Ezra heard him call his name in through the force' ezra this is one of the great challenges that you must over come to prove that you are a leader' Revan said to ezra ' but how I don't have a weapon to fight with and if I try to get one of the fallen soldiers guns I'll be killed' Ezra said to Revan through the force ' but that is where yo are wrong my son' Revan said to ezra 'What do you mean?' Ezra asks him 'Look at what you are holding in you hands ' Revan said to ezra.
ezra looks down and see's the Dark saber in his hands ' What!? I thought I left back at the base ' ezra said in confusion 'The force works in mysterious my son know go and lead these men into battle' revan said
Ezra looked at the weapon he remembered that Sabine had told him that the dark saber was a symbol of Leader ship Ezra takes a deep breath and closes his eyes for three seconds and once he opened his eyes he was someone else he activates the blade and charges the enemy forces some of the soldiers see ezra and wander if he's crazy
A squad of stormtroopers are firing at the allied forces as they continue there assault and fail to see ezra rushing towards them until it's to late ezra uses the Dark saber to slash one of them across the chest he stabs another through the helmet and force pushes another in to a tree he deflects blaster fire that the remaining stormtroopers are firing at him then bullets started to come form the back of him the looks to see the members of the 101st airborne right behind him he slashes another storm trooper across the chest and looks at the men " C'MON!" Ezra shouts as he leads the charge towards the airbase " You heard him men let's take this base!" A soldier shouted to the rest who let a war cry
two hours later
After leading the charge towards the base Ezra and easy company and there reinforcements the airbase was finally taken the Remaining Umbaran and imperial forces where either killed in the assault or taken prisoner the main armed forces where destroyed by the combined firepower of tanks and apache longbows and with aid of airstrikes
Out of the two companies with a combined 300 hundred fifty six where wounded and eighty six where killed that left one hundred and fifty eight men left and out of twenty eight tanks elven where destroyed even with superior numbers of the enemy battalions that was protecting the base had fallen to the allies
Ezra was sitting on a crate out side one of the hangers where he could see some of the mechanics working on some of the choppers he was just minding his own business until a bright green glowing light appeared on the floor in front of him he covered his eyes with his arms so he could see the source as he walks towards it the glow started to dim once he reached the source he saw a green crystal on the floor he bends down to see what it is as he pick up the crystal he turns his head to see rex and the company commander walking towards him he quickly puts the crystal in his pocket and stands at attention and salutes them
The salute back " at ease son" the commanding officer said to ezra " I heard that you led a the charge that helped us take this base" the commanding office said to Ezra
" Yes sir that is correct " ezra said " Well I have to say for a young man like you take on the responsibility to lead men into battle is exactly the type of leadership and bravery that where looking for " the commanding officer said to ezra " thank you sir" ezra said " which is why I'm promoting you to the rank of captain just like rex here is now I don't want you to let the power of this rank going to you head but I need men who can lead and rex here said that he saw you lead men to take this base and I couldn't think of a better soldier to lead men into battle" the commanding officer said to ezra as he placed his hand on Ezra's shoulder " your father would be proud of you " the commanding officer said to ezra " thank you sir " ezra said
And with that the commanding officer leaving rex to congratulate ezra on his promotion
Mean while on a planet with twin suns at Mos Eisley space port
A young man about seven teen years of age with blonder hair blue eyes wearing a white shirt and brown pants was walking around until he spotted a couple of Us marines at a small command post after the begging of the War major crime syndicates started to become prey to the CIA,FBI and other earth government agencies forcing then and the Hutt clans on Tatooine and other worlds to lay low even the imperials abended the planet
the young man walks towards them one of the marines see's the teenager walking towards them and orders him to halt " whoa wait a minute stop right there" the marine said to him what do you think you doing?" the marine asks the young man " I was going to ask you guys something" the teenager said to the marine causing him to give him a confused look " Ask us what exactly ?" the marine asks him " I was going to ask you guys what does it take to join your military and fight the empire" the teenager said to the marine which surprised him and the other marines " what's you name kid?" another marine asks " It's Luke, Luke Skywalker" Luke said to the marines
