Ezra and his men where on the 125 floor they encountered little resistance from the empire Ezra must have known that the they sent the forces to the ground to stop the 1st and 2nd divisions " Ezra this is rex do you copy?" Rex asked through the comms " I hear you rex how are thing are you end?" ezra asked the old clone captain " where approaching the second level to the top and the guns are lively " rex told ezra
" Yeah my guess is that the air force sent fighters to fend off the empire and umbaran air forces " ezra told rex " yeah your probably right what's you position?" Rex asked him " where on the 125th level think you and your men could wait of us until where on the same level?" Ezra asked rex " Yeah why?" Rex asked him " Because I have a plan" Ezra told him " what kind of plan?" Rex asked ezra " Once both of us are on the same level we move up at the same time and attack at once that way they won't be able to use the guns on either tower when we attack" Ezra said to rex " smart plan alright me and my men will hold here and wait for your men to be on the same level just don't take long" Rex said to ezra " don't worry we won't be long" ezra told rex and the comms went silent
Ezra turned to his men " alright rex is going to hold his position until we get o the same level there are four entrances on the top level the lead to the level beneath it I need eight men to breach those entrances at the same time is that understood?" Ezra asked his men
" SIR! YES! SIR!" his men shouted as they followed ezra to the upper levels
Down below
The 1st and 2nd infantry divisions where engaged with imperial and umbaran forces bullets where flying in different directions
" Push forward! we got to secure the perimeter around those towers now Move!" an Officer shouted to the US forces as the moved slowly towards the towers the enemy force where taking casualties left and right the US and Russian military forces where over whelming there forces the imperial commander watches from his command center as the allied forces push towards him
" sir!" an imperial lieutenant shouted running towards the commander " what is it?" he asked the officer " Sir are force are being over powered and are request for reinforcements have been denied" the officer told the commander " what!?" he shouts " Get me governor Tarkin immediately!" he order the officer " Sir he's the one that denied us Reinforcements" the officer told the imperial commander who widen his eyes in shock He then hears the sound of gun fire in the distance he knew that the allied force where advancing towards his position " sir what are you orders ?" the officer asked the commander who couldn't reply as he was shot in the head by a sniper.
The lieutenant watched as his superior officer was lying dead in front of him wondering what to do
Meanwhile
" Okay on my mark" Ezra told his men " one, two, three, breach!" he shouted as ezra nd his men attacked the imperial and Umbaran forces that where guarding the Flak guns one by one they where shoot dead the same with rex and his men " Secure the guns we have to be ready incase any enemy fighters appear" Rex ordered his men " Ezra we secured the guns what about you ?" Rex asked through the comms " just secured them and it sounds like the Russians just secured there as well" Ezra said as He and rex both saw gun fire from the top of the third tower " Yeah looks like it" rex said through the comms " I just informed the division commander that we too k the guns he's ending a relief team to relive us until then we just have to wait" Ezra told rex " copy that did he tell you how many men we loosed taking these guns ?" Rex asked " Yeah out of the fifty thousand that came her we lost eight hundred KIA and five hundred wounded we have Forty Eight thousand and seven hundred left we lost some good men rex " Ezra told him
" I know kid but we took these guns so we know that the sacrifice didn't go in vain" Rex told ezra
thirty minutes later
Ezra and rex where riding in a chinook with some men on there way back to the airfield to rejoin easy company the commander had something to tell them. As the landed on the airfield the commander of Easy company was standing with some other officers
" Sir" Rex said as he and ezra saluted the commander of easy company " At ease boys" he told them " You'll be glad to know that the Imperial and umbaran forces have just surrendered to the allied forces here those guns that you and your men took where the last stepping stone to capture this planet within the span of thirty six hours we where able to takes this planet with a combined lost of two hundred thousand four hundred eighty six KIA and one hundred thousand two hundred and fifty five wounded our mission was a success so I'm happy to say that you two are going back to chopper base" The commander said to them and turned to headed back to the commander center
" Well it looks where going back sooner then expected" Rex told Ezra " Yeah and I'm hoping that Sabine is taking it easy cause I don't want to find out that she's been pushing her self to fix up our ship " Ezra told rex " don't' worry kid if I know Hera she probably told her to take it easy" Rex told ezra as the two where walking to the mess hall to get some and the wait for the constellation to take them back to chopper base but ezra was unaware for that would be waiting for him when he and rex get back
