"Everything looks perfect."

Matt and I walked towards the front of our new home.

I shook his hand and opened the door for him to leave.

"As always, I appreciate you, Matt."

"No problem. Take it easy, enjoy the house."

"Will do."

As soon as the door closed behind him, I could hear small footsteps approaching.

"Daddy, we live here?!" TJ asked.

I picked him up and walked towards the kitchen.

"We do. What you think?"

"Awesome!" He yelled excitedly.

I smirked and shook my head.

"I'm glad you like it."

Movers and members of both mine and Tae's family swarmed the place like bees to help get everything situated.

"What you need?" Belle fussed once we got to the kitchen.

"Just tryna get a quick snack. What's wrong?"

"I want to make sure this kitchen gets finished before the end of the night. Where is my daughter? I know how particular she is about this kitchen, however, she ain't answering..."

I thought about last night and shook my head.

I ain't know where she was; I was surprised when she texted this morning to say she would be at this house today at some point.

I shrugged.

"She said she'd be here today."

Her eyebrows raised inquisitively.

"She okay?"

I nodded and walked away so she wouldn't be worried.

Later that evening...

"Daddy?"

"Yeah?"

My head lifted from the couch to see Trini standing at the door of my man cave.

"You said to let you know when Mommy got here." She reminded me walking closer.

I yawned and slowly pulled myself up.

"Where she at?"

She grabbed my hand and led me out of the room.

"With Ms. Beck. I think they went to your room."

"Thanks baby doll."

I walked that way and could hear them in the closet of the primary bedroom.

"Ladies." I spoke getting their attention.
