"Lashontae, come on, stop!" I shouted while forcefully trying to pull her off her sister.
"Get her off of me!" Solange screamed as Jay helped me pull Tae off and hem her in a corner.
"Let me go!" Lashontae screamed, attempting to fight her way back over.
"I got her." I said to Jay.
Slowly, he released his grip while I kept my arms firmly on hers.
Bey stood in a corner crying silently as everyone else stood shocked.
Alan went over to help Solange off the floor as she cried profusely. Her neat French braid and bun was now undone and all over her head and her left eye now had a blue ring around it damn near big as the one Alan gave her earlier.
"What the hell?" Tina yelled, completely floored as she looked between the girls.
"Have you both lost your minds?" Matthew asked them sternly.
"She's crazy!" Solange screamed.
"I'll show you crazy!" Tae replied, trying again to get to her.
"Stop." I mumbled, reminding her I had her on lock.
"Too late!" Solange replied.
"Maybe we should really go." I mumbled, constantly trying to get Lashontae to stop attempting to get loose.
"No. Before either of them leave here, they're going to figure this shit out. For now, take her upstairs to cool off."
"He can't hold me forever!" Tae yelled as I picked her up.
"Go to bed, Tae. Good night." Tina said assertively with her hand on her hip.
Quickly, I threw her over my shoulder and carried her upstairs.
Once inside her room with the door closed, I put her down.
"You have got to calm down, Doll." I whispered holding her by the shoulders as I looked into her eyes, "look at me."
She shook her head as her eyes filled with tears.
I sighed and pulled her in for a hug.
The next morning...
"Mom, stop worrying. I'm fine."
Opening my eyes, I saw Tae lying to my right with her AirPods in.
"I slept on it and I'm not as mad." She added before turning over.
I got up and went down the hall to the bathroom so she could finish her conversation, hoping that today was a better day than yesterday.
When I came back to the room, she was laying there scrolling on her phone.
