"We should have a double wedding. Me and Alan will get married first and then boom, you and Trey come down. We have a big reception and throw the biggest party culture has ever seen. Lit." Solange suggested as I put her hair in two French braids.

"Girl, that's tacky as shit." I replied sucking my teeth.

"No, it's not. That's lit!"

I rolled my eyes.

"We want our own moment bitch, not some second string thing at your wedding."

She sighed and stood to go look at her finished braids.

"Whatever, have your own then," she fussed under her breath as her fingertips touched her hair, "if you weren't a living legend, you could've definitely made it as a stylist. You and B are amazing with hair. Why didn't I get that gift?"

"You were never patient enough." I mumbled matter of factly, "have you and Alan set a date?"

She nodded.

"We're thinking six months from now. And no, you can't have your wedding before mine." She said making me laugh.

"I ain't tryna take your shine, little sister. I'll wait for you to go first, but I would like to go ahead and start planning. I have sooo many ideas."

"I know," she agreed, "which is why you can't go before me. Y'all about to do the most; I just want something simple that's a good time."

"I hear you. And whatever I can do to help, let me know."

"So glad you said that," she instantly replied, "Are you and Bey doing my bachelorette party?"

"Duh." I said nonchalantly.

I walked towards the playroom to check on the kids real quick with her on my heels.

"I'm asking because there's someone I wanna add to the festivities; my bachelorette party, bridal showers and wedding. And I need you to be cool with it..."

I spun towards her curiously.

"Sik." She replied scratching the back of her head.

"Absolutely not." I said without a second thought.

"Come on, Tae."

"No," I reiterated, "why would you even ask that?"

"Because I love her, we grew up with her damn near, and I would like to have her there." She explained humbly.

"If it means that much to you, invite her."

I poked my head inside of the room and looked around. Trinity held Taylor while her and Rose watched cartoons while TJ casually tossed a ball in the air to himself.

Since they seemed content, I gave Solange, who was standing in front of me still, my attention.

"You mean that?" She asked softly.
