"Got everything?" Trey asked as I looked around my room one last time.

I nodded.

"Yeah, I'm ready."

"You going with me?" He asked skeptically.

I acted like I was thinking about it while he sucked his teeth.

"Yeah, I said a couple days. That's what I meant." I replied grabbing my purse.

He smirked and grabbed my tote before placing it on top of his wheeled LV luggage.

"Gotta double check with yo ass," he responded licking his lips, "ya never know."

After saying our goodbyes, we went to the jet and flew home to Virginia.

Houston had been such a whirlwind; although it ended amazingly, the mental anguish of it all had me exhausted.

"I gotta fly to Chicago in the morning for some work shit." Trey mumbled as we rode to the house, "I got nothing today though. You?"

I shook my head tirelessly as I gazed out the windows at the mountains.

"Nothing."

"Cool."

We pulled up to the house and took our time as the drivers gathered our luggage.

"Is it seven yet?"

"Almost," Trey replied following me to the kitchen, "got ten minutes."

I sat my burgundy Chanel on the counter and washed my hands in the sink.

"Should Trini and Deuce stay home from school today?" He asked starting the espresso machine.

I sighed as I opened the fridge.

"I don't think they need to miss school." I replied.

"I'm bout to be gone," he said anxiously, "a lot. It's not like they do it often. Come on, one day."

I took out the bacon and carton of eggs.

"Whatever, Tremaine."

"What's good, morning." Forrest said walking in the kitchen in his workout clothes, "how was Houston?"

He kissed my cheek and dapped Trey.

Trey looked at me and chuckled.

"Interesting."

Forrest cut his eyes between us.

"Aw shit. What I miss?"

"Nothing," I spoke up as Trey laughed again, "how were the kids?"

"Bad as hell," Forrest said making us both laugh, "nah for real, they was good. All except that little one. She cut up on my ass, dawg."

"Lord, what happened?" I mumbled.
